Tell me why ,think it was bbc website, it was discussing far right reform party then also talking about the soft left labour taking over from starmer, then also calling the Greens and Lib dems progressive parties, what a crock of s**t.
I wouldn’t call the liberals progressive after making it more difficult for working class kids to go to university and the greens do seem odious with their leadership. However, if you think the bbc are lefty given recent political editors were members of the Tory party and the lack of any scrutiny on Farage and all his dealings that is very wrong imho. Chris Mason should get a job at GB News as that is his calling.

The media in this country are a biased disgrace and there is a reason why very wealthy men fund the press and social media with their right wing nonsense and hatred of Labour. It works and many are easily manipulated. Working class people parroting their hatred of renewable energy, as example, when almost 70% of Farage’s money comes from links to the fossil fuel industry. Given the mess created by Farage’s orange mate in the US investment in renewables is very sensible, but of course Milliband ate a bacon sandwich. I see lots of propertys around me getting solar panels which is good to see and good for our kids and kids kids.

It not the hatred of renewables but realisation by people that you cannot run a country on just renewables and the untruth about costs, yes per unit kwh might be cheaper but for solar in uk you need at least 3kwh for every one of gas /coal plus 16 hours worth of storage per day.

Nobody is saying all renewables though. A mix of renewables and nuclear as we wean off fossil fuels is just sensible given the lunatics effecting oil supply (on both sides).

The hatred of renewables is laughable. Of course nothing to do with What Farage is saying or his fossil fuel backers or why they spend a fortune trying to manipulate the masses against their better interests.

Have a look at the bbc website now…more non dom billionaires throwing money at Farage. Of course they aren’t manipulating people.

The right (Tories) deliberately and wantonly destroyed the coal mining industry in the UK in revenge for the miners bringing down the Tory government in 74. The coal mines are flooded now never to be able to produce coal again. The Reformorons insist we can do open cast coal mines. We can't. The Collieries in the Durham Coal Field were bled dry first from the West of the county (Consett, Stanley etc) so production moved further and further Eastward, then all those seams ran out. In the end all of the seams that were left were on the Coast, with seams going miles out under the sea like Wearmouth. The seams they were working were so far out under the North Sea that the miners working on them took an hour to travel to the coal face on small railways, and an hour to get back. Do Reformorons not think that if they could open cast coal in the NE they would do that rather than travel an hour out to seams under the North Sea in the deepest coal mine in the world (Wearmouth). Beggars belief.

I think you are giving them too much credit mate. I was talking to one the other day all I was getting was "open the mines and start drilling in the north sea". I asked him what happens when the coal and oil run out? The response was "well how is that going to happen"? I then spent the next 20 minutes explaining how the coal and oil was formed millions of years ago. He is in his 50's and he did not believe me. <laugh>

Great post mate. Millions of pounds of machinery under the North Sea thanks to the Tories up our way. Industrial vandalism and wickedness off the scale. The ship sadly has sailed.

One can only imagine Farage’s views during the miners strike. I doubt he had any concerns about mining communities.

Norway is run on almost just renewable energy. They use electricity only in their homes and not gas.

Some people keep the receipts these days. Your past posts can come back to bite you.

No matter what Farage is shown to have said, whether it's 'Gas the Jews' or 'attack the police' ...

... his supporters will either claim it's media fake news, say it's lies by 'the left' or, even worse, agree with his words.

Like his mate Trump he has created a cult. Sadly his followers can’t see it and if this cancer gets any real power many of his followers will be the ones who will suffer the most under the direction of Farage’s non dom billionaires.

Sadly we are the little boy pointing out that the Emperor has no clothes. Farage's fan boys reply will be that you must be stupid if you think that. They were the same with Bonko previously.
