Lewis Koumas got a 93rd minute equaliser against Ghana in a friendly tonight, his first for Wales & it was his usual style of off the bench.
He didn’t look particularly impressive for us, and got a load of stick on here. However, he contributed three goals in maybe a dozen (?) games, which for a bench warmer loaned to provide a bit of something slightly different up front, is not a bad contribution. It’ll be interesting how many actual points he gained for us.
I also noted what Hodges (or Holden) reported that he said he was so grateful of the opportunity to have played and had never played in such a positive dressing room, so wants to be here.
I’d say he was worth a punt from the proceeds of the Burstow sale (unless they think he’s also worth hanging on to)?
He’ll only get better, and certainly knows where the onion bag is.

When he was playing on the right, he didn’t look great, his goals were always when he was up front, I still don’t understand why he was kept on the wing?
