Loan players count towards the 25-man squad regardless of age.

That's only in the Championship buddy, in the PL they can be any age loan or not.

But yeah, Koumas on loan would be a waste. We might as well buy him, it's not as though Liverpool would want much for him.

I find Destan a curious case, I don't particularly want to see him leave as he looks like he has decent potential and even though he was clearly bought as a first team back up player, he ended up out on loan. Maybe they thought McBurnie was going to be out longer than expected, but either way, I'd not be selling him in case we go back down again.

I believe it would be way better to sign two great players in midfield 30mil/each than 5-6 for 10/mil each.
Strong Midfield is key if Hull wants to stay up.
Therefore must target and find a couple midfielders who can create and distribute under pressure.
As for loans..Delap if Alonso will let him go..which I doubt he will.
Delaps agent has been told to get proactive & find him a new club. No future at the CFC…..he could off course sit tight & let his long contracts wind down in the reserves…but hopefully he is young & still wants to play

After the season we've just had with injuries, putting our eggs into one or two baskets would seem like a potentially expensive gamble.

The other issue is that players actually worth £30m who would make the difference probably wouldn't come near us.

I stand corrected. Apologies @1MoreAgain.

Yeah, apart from - coming off the bench to secure 3 points against Blackburn in a game where we were awful;scoring with a lovely header to get us 3 points at Wrexham where otherwise we'd have probably drawn (think about the implications of that), and coming off the bench to score against Derby and secure us 3 points (think about the implications of that too) - what has Lewis Koumas ever done for us?
Built the aqueduct!! Awe **** off …
