hope so, friend is a copper and has deleted all of his social media to stay safe.

where I work we have had emails sent around asking us to stay safe if we go into town,

all last night all I could hear was police sirens. helicopters etc.
If the police lose Southampton, they could lose it all. Musk and the media will be stoking the flames while Farage grins.

That guy is an utter race grifter btw.
His overall points were backed by a black ex senior policeman on Politics Live this morning. I must admit, the ex Policeman put it much better this morning, that the Nowak case seemed very poorly policed, approached it completely the wrong way. We must wait for the IOPC full review first before jumping to conclusions.

Broken clock. He's a race grifter of the worst type (abolish white people, white privilege, reparations etc), all the things going wrong with the country at the moment are fomented by people like him, ironically the people on the opposite end are just a mirror being held up, same sh!t from a different end of the stick.

This country is finished like, we're going to get a massive overcorrection and it's happening all over Europe simultaneously, the UN (already on last legs) and intl orgs will be dissolved and no recourse will be available. Partisanship has fed the flames of whatever this ends up being.

Quite right in my opinion.

It would be impossible to turn the clock back now …

… these maniacs like Trump, Farage, Netanyahu, etc are no better than the likes of Putin.

Trump and Farage of products of what has come before them, if the people want a problem to be solved and no one is willing to solve it, they will choose anyone who says that they will solve the problem. The spinelessness of Tories and Labour over decades has led to this, same for America.

The disorder in Southampton is disgraceful but far removed from what happened on the streets after BLM rioted.
Statues pulled down and thrown in the river, organised rioting on a huge level, last night was a bunch of arseholes who probably didnt even know why they were there. If thats the fabled far right mob the left alude to then I think we have a far bigger problem with the far left.

I believe the comments from Hannah living in Southampton have more relevance than your view of a bunch of fabled lads?
from the videos you can see the type of person there,
and is terrorfying.
one person took their kids....

my nephew wasnt to go to the cinema with a few friends tonight,

hes annoyed as hes been told no,
Sorry to hear the situation you find yourselves living in. Hopefully the torrential rain dampens down the bunch of lads.

As much as I'm tempted to agree, this country will not survive if we remain trapped in a constant tit-for-tat, people need to try and see the full spectrum, both sides are harming the country in an attempt to harm their political adversary, we're teetering on the edge and people just want to score points.

Agree, I believe Starmer batted well with a straight bat today in PMQs. Farage on the other hand tried his best to score political points which surely cannot of gone down well.

It’s not the left injuring the police in Southampton. Whataboutry and I certainly don’t condone defaming statues either.

Politics of device and hate from Farage in whipping this up. He is a cancer in our country

Farage is like a Bizarro Superman ...
... any signs of conflict and he's there, in minutes, whipping things up making it worse.

The leaders from the last 30 years have allowed this country to get in the **** state its in today.
Unfortunately the new era of politics seem to be let's appeal to the highest % of swing voters to get in to power. It doesn't seem to matter anymore about our values it's just about getting in to number 10.
It seems the best policy is to just criticise everyone's else's rather than have any of your own.
The country is in a real mess at the moment, which just leads to opportunistic like farage and Trump.
Neither has any idea how to run a country, yet promise to solve every problem over night.
Thing is people are so sick of the state the country is in, they believe them. I also think the vast majority of people voting for these idiots don't actually have the first idea about politics.
I'm no whizz myself, I sick to death of Labour and the tories lies, corruption and inability to run our country properly. However one thing I do know is Farage is a million times worse than anything we've seen before
