The qualifying system is warped. It should be the top 48 (btw that’s too many - 16 in my younger life, 24 at a push was enough) yet some countries in Europe are squeezed out for minnows in other continents. Here’s who lost out last night, some of whom arguably should be in the top 48.

Love those Wales shirts tonight.
With you on that one Irish.... Could be tempted to purchase one. I think they're currently on offer at JD Sports for £50.

Decent performance from the boys tonight. Entertaining game for a friendly but they should be down to 10 men after their sex offender scythed down Brooksy for what should have been a 2nd yellow.

I also see that with Isaak. He could learn as lot from Dan (who I once found equally frustrating) as he's progressed into one of the first names on the team sheet now. Isaak had the potential but needs to work on himself and taking ownership of his shortfalls

Colwill Jnr, Zac and Kpakio all on the bench.
No Lawlor.
Hope he isn't in London. <yikes>

Injured. Came off v. Ghana and was seen with an ice pack on his knee second half. He didn't travel to Romania as a result.

Could have gone to London I suppose........ although the trains were a mess with Severn Tunnel closed and Tube strike on Thursday.

Terrible defending by Wales, gifting Romania ball in dangerous positions.
Ward guilty of poor decisions playing out from the back.
