The thread is called 'and now for something completely different', but 97% of it is cranky pensioners focusing on any racial aspect of a crime and devouring it like maggots on roadkill.

British ***** been kicked out of Norway today and banned from the Schengen region for life, for flying over yesterday to meet an underage girl he'd groomed online.. Benefit of Brexit that freedom of movement can be curtailed for British criminals.
ahh but for every british crime there are hundreds of horrific crimes committed by our friends. i read one girl on a park bench was orally raped for that long she died. there must come a time when its not racist to talk about it but common sense. surely?

what a state this country has become. police darent put a foot wrong for fear of offending non whites. bending over backwards to cater for insane religious demands ie allowing knives to be carried i mean wt actual f. i remember a while back all the muslim riots not reported about despite a sky reporter unwittingly being in the middle of one caught live on tv. two tier policing. people being imprisoned for mentioning it. labelled racists. whereas the police and politicians bending over backwards to suck up to insanity. recently i was told to go on X and search for migrant rapist and its so terribly terribly sad. its not racist to admit that values morals scruples whatever you want to call them are a much lower standard in countries other than ours yet there is a steady influx of them. and they are seemingly protected their crtimes ignored or brushed under a tree, if this post is to be deleted can admin at least please read this article, importing the third world has its hazards and it shouldnt be racist to highlight it.

After living and working in other countries that have different cultures, rule and regulations that I had to abide to wether I agreed with or even found them unacceptable has influenced my opinion on migration.
This is our country with its own culture and rules anyone who comes here should live by those rules. The law should be applied equally to all.

Cue the hello officer replies…

Anyone got any good websites on iPhone just for movies.

Before you say just get a dodgy box - I have one - I just need movies for my phone as well

Cheers lads

When people talked about two-tier policing and two-tier justice, I thought it was a load of bollocks. However, this case has changed my stance. First of all, why the **** do Sikhs have a legal dispensation to carry knives in public, a privilege not afforded to any other ethnic or religious group? What the ****’s all that about? Secondly, Henry told the officer that he had been stabbed multiple times and instead of checking for injuries as a first responder should, he callously said ‘I don’t think so, mate’ and restrained a dying 18-year-old. Why? Because some **** made a false accusation of racism against him and apparently, being accused of racism is worse than stabbing someone.
It’s like that on here , I’m surprised the ‘you watch GB news’ posters aren’t on here saying Insno many words it’s unimportant and racist . If the channels that make focus on this did not exist then you would hear v little meaningful or eye opening stories at all . Radio 5 live this am an ex chief constable said there would be lots of problems banning the Sikh knives as they would have to outlaw Scottish ceremonial knives - so what !!! if it saves one life a bit less regalia isn’t important .

Just a reminder the policies that the police work to are generated by the Home Office as directed by the govt if the time . Individual officers will interpret these based on their training ideally but as in all walks of life , politics , origin , experiences will colour that plus ‘fear’ of ‘getting it wrong ‘ it will be difficult to win . I wonder how many PC’s have lost their jobs using common sense which didn’t fit ? This also applies to many public sector workers as the lady in social services in Grtr Manchester found out after exposing the rape gangs , she was hounded out wasn t she ?

Spring, what would you do if you were in a pub with your wife and children, enjoying an alcoholic beverage, when five elderly men walk in and take off their clothes and start moving from table to table, interrupting conversations and making it all about their nakedness. You, the other patrons and the publican have politely told them that they're welcome in the pub, but to keep their clothes on, even wearing shorts, thongs and a singlet would be acceptable, but if they can't remain clothed, there is an establishment just down the road that will not only cater to their nude needs, it will positively welcome them.

Every time they're ejected from the pub, they start screaming that the other customers are prejudice towards their nudity and don't want to open their eyes and look at the naked elderly men, not taking any responsibility for their garment shedding and putting all the blame on the brewery which has been called in to investigate the incident.

Would you support the five pensioner perverts or would you very firmly state that the pub you had chosen was not the right place for elderly nudists?

Why do they have to be elderly? What difference does it make? You seem to have a real problem with pensioners or indeed anyone older than you.

I don't get what this hypothetical event has to do with anything.

What am I missing?

“We do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension. We want his story to help make our streets safer for everyone.
“That is why we are calling on the Government to treat knife crime as the national emergency it is. We need real solutions. We need investment in prevention. We need stronger action on the sale, ownership and carrying of all knives.''

Isn't it 'interesting' that pretty much all the focus (from politicians, media, on here even) is on the 1st sentence.
Of course the family don't want further hatred, riots or whatever. It shouldn't even need to be said.
My point is, why is the focus not being put on the rest of what was said? That's where real action is clearly being called for by the family, and rightly so.
Why aren't politicians, media, commentators repeating and acting on those bits? Why the selective use of the family's comment?
How many more lives need to be lost and family's wrecked? What's it going to take?
We all know why there's selective focus on the 1st sentence and not the rest of the statement - a) because it's easy to just real off the sentitments and the platitudes around it, without actually having to do anything in practice, b) because repeating the 1st sentence serves as an attempt to quiet / silence / discredit those brave or sensible enough to call for the necessary action, and c) because it would mean having to target and upset certain 'demographics'.
The family's comments are spot on.
It all ****ing stinks.

The only division I can see developing in this whole sorry and sad episode is between the police patrolling our streets and the public. The trust has gone and rightly so.
I can see that trust going (or gone) too, but I also see politicians using his death to stoke further division between communities as well because they think that helps their party gain votes

I don't think it's that at all.
A growing number of people are simply pig sick of what's going on.
The parties that are calling things out for what they are will continue to grow in popularity.
