That's a completely different issue to a massively expensive criminal investigation into - presumably - employees of the Post Office and/or Horizon IT.

US President Donald Trump is transforming Washington DC by renaming institutions with his name.......doing major renovations at historic sites and putting his face around the city.

BBC News...North America & Canada.....28/05/2026.

Just incase you forget Him.

He doesn’t think it necessary to condemn a Russian drone hitting a building in Romania, a fellow NATO nation.

Too busy trying to surrender in the war he started with Iran I expect.

US President Donald Trump had a meeting with top aides on Friday to make a "final determination" about a framework for extending the ceasefire with Iran.....but it concluded without clarity on the nexy step.

BBC News...30/05/2026.

Read "top aides" as "yes men".....he hasn't got a clue at what to do.....he might have military might available but Iran hold the "trump (sorry on the pun...not intended) card"......the Strait of Hormuz is closed and "crushed" Iran (Trump's view) are certainly winning that one......so sorry Mr Trump you can't just runaway and play with your new toy ....CUBA.......yet.

Although the President of China Xi Jinping has total power in China and might be a threat worldwide....he doesn't run around like Trump starting chaos everywhere and moving on without sorting things out first......yet.

Maybe Trump is calming down......he hasn't threatened Greenland for at least 48hrs......or decided to make Canada a state of the USA this week.

The White House released the results of his recent medical.....and confirmed that the President was "fully fit to carry out his duties".

BBC News 30/05/2026.

Obviously started from the neck downwards.

Only 100% boot licking peasants' are acceptable in the Trump Empire.....you got to know your place or you get not known at all.

April & May have now finished....and they have been very dry months in the South East........I cannot remember the last time that I have set the hose up before the "summer months" in May......Mrs Plym has needed it to keep her trays of bedding plants alive.....plus some of her more established shrubs have been wilting for lack of rain.....even the deep rooted evergreen trees are showing brown areas.....and once that happens they never reverse that situation.....the day of the green lawn maybe also coming to an end.

Also noticeable that the "new" tree leaves have been struggling as well....and many have fallen to the ground .....going brown and crinkly and giving you the impression that autumn has arrived.

Peter Mandelson...Chapter 2 or 3 or 4.....I've lost track.....all kicks off today.....nice to have something other than Trump to read about.

Somebody (who knew him from his Labour days) said Mandelson was duplicitous, unprincipled, fawning, untrustworthy, cynical and generally slimy. In other words, he was the perfect person to ingratiate himself with a Trump administration and get positive results for the UK.

Personally, I tend to think we have missed a trick here.

PS Clearly even turning a blind eye to Epstein's activities would be reprehensible, but Mandelson is known to be gay and therefore highly unlikely to have been involved in them. Whether Mandelson was aware of them is less certain but I'd assume Epstein wouldn't have advertised them to non-participants.

RAIN...RAIN...RAIN....first real downpour since March....Started raining before midnight,,,,,on and off all night so it seems....just about to go out and it decides to really chuck it down again.......Mrs Plym very pleased.

Well so far so good... I think we've had 5 BBQ's already this year and ate the Sunday roast outside on Sunday.

I'm advised by my in-house agricultural expert that the farmers need the rain, so I'll take her advice, as I do in everything most things.
