Looks like one that person who mocks up concept kits did with logos photoshopped onto it (or whatever Ai bollocks has replaced photoshopping nowadays) to meYou must log in or register to see media
Nah, someone's just been playing with AI.So it's Adidas then ?

It's supposed to be, there's some talk of it being switched after promotion, but I'm not sure that's actually practical.Oxen isn’t it?
If we don’t have a break clause or a substantial escalator in the event of promotion, then our contract with Oxen is a disaster, and our commercial team have ****ed up.
If there’s an escalator then great, Oxen will be paying the going rate for a PL deal (albeit I’d rather we weren’t with them), if there’s a break clause then there’s no issue, we pay a small fee and get a much better kit deal.
I worry that we don’t have either and now we’re chasing our tails trying to avoid underselling our kit deal to the tinpot manufacturer down the road.

Most people given a choice of brand would not pick Oxen (or Kappa).
Matchwinner went bust in 2025, Avec only really make kits for amateur teams, even Admiral don't do club kits in any significant way (I think Burton Albion are the only league club they're still doing).Oxen I honestly think will do a pretty good job, but in an ideal world i'd pick one of:
Admiral
Umbro
Avec
Matchwinner
Well then, if it's a choice between Oxen or some big manufacturer like Adidas, Nike or Puma, then Oxen all the way!Matchwinner went bust in 2025, Avec only really make kits for amateur teams, even Admiral don't do club kits in any significant way (I think Burton Albion are the only league club they're still doing).
It will all come out in the wash. If someone did a deal when promotion was a realistic possibility and they had not put something in place either to bin Oxen off or make them pay through the nose for a Premier League season then they should not be working for the club any more. Its basic stuff. If we don’t have a break clause or a substantial escalator in the event of promotion, then our contract with Oxen is a disaster, and our commercial team have ****ed up.

A bit like the city badge on my Adidas shirt it came out in the wash separately from the shirt. Glued on badges ffs Whatever happened to embroidery?

Clubs want shirts quicker than ever, embroidery is a lengthy process. Even stitched on woven badges takes much longer than heat applied so unfortunately they are becoming more and more popular.A bit like the city badge on my Adidas shirt it came out in the wash separately from the shirt. Pretty sure we were Umbro throughout that periodMy 13/14 away kit is still perfect but my 20/21 League 1 kit has the badges coming off.
