I have vauge recollections of raising money to buy or pay the wages of a player way back in the past.
We could blow that out the water (not your boat) by doing a deal on a player and then meeting up with Acun to say look what we've bought you. Needs to be somebody good though, we could insist on his squad number being 606.

He's just had the best season of his life and Im sure i heard hes out of contract after refusing to sign a new one. If that is the case im guessing hes already got a better club lined up

I think pinnock would be a great first signing, like Ajayi was last season. Cheap but experienced, sets the tone for the summer without committing too much money. Acun seems to spend window's where he finishes a window improving on players that were signed at the start of the window.
I'm sure under Bruce our first signing was either McGregor or Davies. Really set the tone. I don't think we need too many CBs, maybe even just one, so pinnock would be perfect.
Agreed. If he's refused to stay at Fulham I dont think it's because he's looking for a newly promoted club.

The word here in Croatia is that if not another season in Milan then his last season at Dinamo Zagreb (likely to play championa leagiemin his last career year)
