Gordon's head hasn't been here a lot of the season, 17 goals but 9 penalties. A quarter of his season's goals in the training ground match against Qarabag.

When you look at the league contribution, only 3 league goals that weren't penalties, plus going missing on countless matches and all his red cards. Cash in and get the deal done quick.

Links today are the keeper from Ligue 2 Reims, Fernandez-Pardo of Lille and Lamine Camara of Monaco.

None feel like they’ll start next season, all feel like replacements for possibly Pope/Ramsdale, Gordon and Tonali. We cannot possibly be going into a window following Howes approach of buying subs yet again?

Howe

Are we going to have a change of recruitment policy? I don't see that. It's very much on the position that we need. And then you make a decision on what type of profile that you need.

Im critical of Howe and PIF but even I dont bother with the transfer rumours as it's just a waste of time get all heated about all the knob ITKs fighting for clicks.

Let see what happens, indications are we are going to move more quickly than the last windows so that's a positive at least.

No matter what happens Howe and his cronies will make an excuse. The man's full of ****... I specifically remember after the last summer transfer window him saying he was delighted with the signings and excited about the squads potential..... Fast fwd until the seasons become a failure, and all of a sudden he had too many signings at once, they came too late in the window, he would have preferred them drip fed to him, and the window was difficult.

The ****ing journalists were reporting the joy and celebrations from the Howes when they landed Elanga.
