There we go. Maybe balkan will be satisfied with that. Can you copy paste though? I can't access.

You haven't even seen it yourself. But your sure it's right. It may just be someone else speculating or guessing.

Is the sale agreement out there in full. You know the one signed between the Allams and Acun.

In the season just gone, the promoted teams bought the following number of players in the summer transfer window.

Leeds United: 11 new players
Burnley: 14 new players
Sunderland: 15 new players

If Sunderland are the model to follow then only 6 of their promoted team were regular starters in the premier league.

I think Coyle, Slater, Miller start on the bench come the end of August.

Hopefully the promotion won’t make it too hard to get rid of Palmer and Burstow (assuming both of their wages will automatically go up).

Same with Omur.

Loan players – I’d only sign Joffrey and providing Leeds don’t now try and take the piss with the fee/ maybe Amir but depends on calibre and cost of other targets.

Renew Slater’s deal and ensure he has a chance to grow into a PL midfielder

I think some of the current squad might surprise in PL and do ok. Likes of KJ,, Egan, McNair might be good squad players. For all the hate he got, Alex Bruce – maligned in the Championship – did ok for us. We need to cull but we don’t need to savage.

Important we try to keep this chemistry that undoubtedly has elevated a squad beyond. Interesting, and encouraging, that is what Tuchel seems to seeking too for the World Cup.
I would try keep Yu and Koumas they are good players to keep in the squad and definitely keep Joseph he did well for the team.

Just out of curiosity, did we have obligations to buy any loan players as part of the deals?
I assume we’ll sign Gelhardt, the rest…I don’t think so, I think for once we need to be harsh & not sentimental.
I’ve seen a few people saying we should sign Yu, but for me, he’s a 5 minute wonder player, he did great for the cross on Saturday, but throughout the season, that’s what he does.
If we did sign him, I think it’d be a waste of a signing.
Still, he might be a different player in the PL, maybe still feeling the injury & next season, a different player. Who knows?

Kamada at palace is a free agent this summer

Would be a good signing

Maybe a punt on goretzka?

I highly doubt he’ll go anywhere. Keeping the core group together will be very important and also his running and battling will be an asset when we’re under the cosh, possibly even more so than it’s been this season. He’s obviously not going to be one of our main players in our strongest 11 but he will play a part and prove his usefulness.
Agreed
No player in any league wants someone that fit and enthusiastic constantly chasing them down or running at them in the last 20 minutes!

Of course I'm not suggesting we can't discuss things. The kit, signings ground improvements, and a hundred other things all lend themselves to discussion and debate.
The thing with how much do we owe Ehab is it's one of those things that no one knows, the suggestions so far range from £25 to £40 million.
I would suggest if there is such a clause in the sale agreement it would be a very unusual thing.
To shackle the new owner of any business with a clause that says if you improve said business and make money the old owner is entitled to some of that money is as crazy as the buyer inserting a clause saying if this business I've just bought loses money in the next X many years the seller will return some of the purchase price. Bonkers.
Saying that it may well be true but I would need to hear it confirmed by the buyer or seller not somebody on X twitter Facebook or forum.

Please stop with your evidence-free speculation, it's not permitted on here.

Keeping strong veterans around makes sense. The question is will some of the younger ones like Belloumi and Gelhardt actually improve enough to make it at the top level.

We weren't allowed.

The 40m was Amin taking the piss.

It looks like it expired after 3 years so it's irrelevant.

It's no different to add ons like goals and appearances meaning a club owes more money to the selling club. Not that unusual. Just a way of lowering the initial purchase price

Anyway, it's expired.

I’d keep Joseph, he’s not going to start but if we are seeing out a game or chasing a goal his energy and pressing might be vital
Can we afford to keep a player because he runs around a lot. Do other prem teams have this luxury?

It would be harsh but if we want to stay up id be buying 7 new first team players.. only Hughes, Giles, Belloumi and McBurnie would start, maybe Slater but the rest on the bench.

That's slightly reducing the impact I was saying he would have.

We're going to need to sign a lot of players this summer, I would say at least 10/15 players are higher on the list of 'to sell' than Joseph. I doubt he's on loads so yes I think we can afford to keep him.

Agreed, we need to approach it like Ipswich did and consider the 2027/28 season and another potential promotion fight.

I'm really curious about what we've got planned in terms of transfer targets and budget, and whether we can attract the calibre of player we need (especially if they're coming from overseas). I know there were issues in attracting players to the East Riding in our previous campaigns, though admittedly the shoddy training facilities were also a factor.
