A sponsor who is that fickle is a bit of a worry though, we may get reliant on that income and have it pulled right when we need it most.
That's why these guys are successful business-wise, they want value for money. Very little sentiment in business. I suspect in the first time under Liam his condition to continue sponsorship was if we had been promoted.
.

I don't get it either, but its atmospheric and others seem to like it, seems a bit forced though.

Anyway, we'll be back to Don't Dream it's Over as we leave the MKM by winter.

How's it forced?
It came from the players.
Maybe I'm over thinking it a bit, but it seems like there's a few parts of it that are somehow so pertinent to us.
This squad, the collection of characters and mentality, are something special. Quite possibly we'll never to see the likes again. But they might just have left us not only the golden PL ticket, but also a gift we've needed for 122 years. An Adele anthem, who'd have thought - nobody, and that's part of why it could be special - it's ours, from these players, and nobody elses. I say embrace it.

My story was my son - who I first took to the first league game at the then Kcom when he was six - had to go to his girlfriend’s friend’s wedding because she wouldn’t give him permission to come to the game. He was distraught. He’d missed Millwall away because his 170 loyalty points didn’t get him a ticket and had reached a compromise with his girlfriend that he could come to the final after the church service (missing part of the first half) but she backtracked with two days to go. So my wife kindly agreed to come for the first time since we were promoted at Walsall in ‘85 (I think) when she was disgusted by some Tigers fans doing monkey chants at one or more of Walsall’s black players, and called them out on it, shouting ‘shut up you racists’ or similar. Anyway after that inauspicious debut she stayed away for 40+ years but we both thoroughly enjoyed our day out at Wembley, with her joining in the singing when she could. In the excitement of the win she even said she’d like to come next year if I can get tickets for any games - but has since backtracked.
I am glad to hear your wife enjoyed it, its certainly a different match experience to what it was 40 years ago. Regarding your son, fair play that he put family first, however he may live to resent his gf for that. In the pub before the game I.must have known nearly 50 people, over 3 generations, some who are southern based and I had not seen for a few years. You can't buy moments like that. Luckily my partner, who has been a couple of times to Wembley, gets the City thing. If we get an invite to any event in the future I always tell her to put it in the diary, 'Hull City permitting'.

Feels likes theres a buzz around the club not seen since the first promotion to the premier league.

I agree, nine years outside the top-flight, nine managers, a stint in League One after an 8-0 defeat to Wigan... and in many ways, the Slutsky, Adkins and McCann days feel like a lifetime ago, whereas the last Championship promotion season, Diame's goal and the last season in the Premier League seem fresher in the memory. These nine seasons have felt more like fifty. I don't think it's helped that Harry Maguire, Andy Robertson and Jarrod Bowen all left and enjoyed incredible careers domestically and internationally, making us think what might've been...

According to Sky News we’ve been out the Premier League for sixteen years and we’ve been led back there by our captain Lewie Doyle. <doh>

Adkins stint began well - the win over Brentford, plus Bowen coming of age. Not helped by Ehab's managed decline of the club.

Doesn't surprise me in the least, and the BBC putting the Man Citeh parade in its main evening news, with no mention of Hull City's parade....Jesus H. Christ. Our achievement is greater than theirs. The only interesting thing to come out was that the result of the investigation into Man Citeh's 125 charges (or whatever it is) is due to be announced this week. Maybe we won't be playing them next season after all. Perhaps the reason why Pep decided to piss off.
