Indeed. Canada was one of George's better circuits so a DNF there was particularly concerning for him. 17 races to go. If Merc remain dominant and did 1 and 2 at each race with no DNFs George would need to win 12 of them, ignoring sprints in that basic math. They won't always be 1 and 2, that is for certain. Kimi is showing youthful persistence, I hope this doesn't go to his head, he needs to stay cool. George also needs to keep his mojo up. A DNF for Kimi is George's best option.It would be surprising if George doesn't get that DNF back at some point. The cars are less reliable and Kimi has threatened to crash a couple of times.
