Well the greatest season since 1973, 4 years ago league one to this, everyone at the club deserves the best praise well Ozzy i reckon Thiago would be nice. Luke O Nien is a legend now he has helped us do this it was great to see the players' reaction when they found out we were in Europe, all you great posters have been great as well we have had a laugh but this team are proving they are battlers and who knows what we achieve next season.

Disappointed to miss out on that atmosphere, but rest assured the Mahou is flowing now in Majorca.

Folk already saying we'll be in a relegation fight next season due to Europe and 2nd season syndrome. Possibly, but i dont care. This is the greatest thing this club has did in my lifetime. Yes, we could have maybe sneaked an FA Cup or League Cup win at some point. Have a bit of silverware. But i would argue that getting into Europe, over a 38 game season, in the Premier League, for a club like ours, that is a bigger achievement than fluking a cup win.

Couldn’t be more proud of the lads than I am today. I was born in ‘74 and only now will I get to watch us play in Europe, hopefully we keep all of our heroes and add a few formidable faces to shore us up when the games are coming thick and fast. Let’s grab some proven world class players on the back of European qualification, 5 more Xhakas would be just the ticket.

Hume deserved his goal today has been immense all season, loves seeing Onien soaking in the atmosphere. These days are few and far between so each and every one of the squad need to enjoy it and make sure they give everyone more days like this.

Hopefully none of our squad feel they need to be anywhere but Sunderland. They will all get a chance next season and will all have some great days to come.

Absolutely outstanding. A team and a club to be proud of. Really great day that was. How that wasn't four or five is one for the angels to answer.

It's as if all the misery, desolation, frustration and heartache we have all endured over the years has been washed away. Washed away by people and players who care. They have made us well again.

Whatever comes now comes. But the fabulous reward earned today is not going to be the handicap some will predict.

This is a set up built to take on challenges, and they'll take this on. And it's a great thing for us to attract players, keep players and probably attract sponsors.

There is also the matter of finishing seventh instead of the seventeenth we would all have taken in August. The matter of it being worth an extra £26m.

These days man. These days.

Wonder where we have heard that before? People made tits of themselves having us nailed on relegation straight after the playoffs because the team that got promoted wasn't good enough, like we weren't allowed to get anyone else in or something!

It might be true but its far too early to call that stuff just like I wouldn't comment on chances of the promoted 3 staying up until the window is closed!
