So JWP effectively relegated with two teams.

I do wonder if West Ham might reintegrate him next season. I think he has one year left on his contract, so I doubt they would get much for him if they tried to sell him. And I think they would struggle to find anyone to take on his wages, even after a relegation wage cut. Given the players who they will inevitably lose over the summer, he could fill a hole for a year - and if they bounce straight back up, they could sign a new CM next summer instead.

But it might require Nuno to leave this summer.

In fact, thinking about it, the stars might align on that front for him.

If Nuno does leave, then Scott Parker - with his Championship success, and West Ham history - probably becomes the obvious replacement. And the fact that JWP joined Burnley suggests that Parker does like him.

It already is.
So it is. just found :-
Bournemouth have qualified for European football for the first time in their history, and next season and will host a minimum of four European matches at the Vitality Stadium.
The Cherries will feature in the league phase of the Europa League, decided on the final day of the Premier League season.
At a capacity of around 11,300 people, the club's stadium is the smallest in the Premier League by more than 6,000 seats, meaning that it would rank among the smallest stadiums in recent history to host Champions League matches.
While some speculation online suggests otherwise, Bournemouth have told BBC Sport that they have the necessary Uefa licence to host league phase matches in the competition.

Bournemouth qualifying for Europe, fair ****ing play.

Pleased for them.

Ayy me too! Gutted to see Iraola leave for them after achieving that as well, I guess always better leaving on a high? Wonder who’s gonna snap him up now, some coach
