Looking at this sensibly and rationally.....something that Acun no doubt will NOT do......those out on loan, you look to move them on if there are takers, they aren't right for the squad now and won't be next year - if we need to take a hit then take the hit, better off the books with a financial hit when in the prem with 200m odd coming our way then going down and them still being around. From the loan players you make Gelhardt perm, the other 5 loanees go back to their clubs - that gives squad space to add 5 or 6 (hopefully) prem quality players to add to the current set of players, all of whom prob deserve a shot next year as squad players at least. This way we'd hopefully not be over spending and adding too many players and disrupting the changing room atmosphere.....but lets face it, he's gunna go radio rental and buy every ****er he can isn't he!

This will be no time for sentimentality and I dont think the lessons of this season will be lost on Acun, Hodge and Dublin...

What I really want to see, buy some land, build a future in the form of facilities befitting the club.

Re Geldhart, I hope as has been suggested, the deal has already been done re a fee so TWS dont try and have our pants down.

On a serious note, what high level players is Acun friendly with?
No idea, but I suspect he's sufficiently friendly with people or connected to get at least one wow signing. May very well be a name in the twilight of a top level career, but a beacon for others.
With the money from promotion in the bag, as much as that's possible, and the short to medium term future if the club secured, I really hope we don't gamble the lot on a bunch of middling Supr Liga and Ligue 1 types.
Well see i guess.

I know he’s friendly with Çalhanoğlu and Džeko.
Wouldn't big Serj be looking at any Croatians or Bosnians?
Toni Fruk would be the one I think he’ll push for. Marco Pašalić is another one. Both played under him at Rijeka and both are very good players who would probably be out of reach in the Championship but not the Prem.

Worra about baturina?
Prob way too pricey tho

Did anyone notice the McVities man at the game yesterday with a big daft grin on his face?
He’s been attending games all season. He’s even been to away games like Oxford and mingled with City fans rather than using corporate tickets.

Quite strange how they stopped sponsoring us rather abruptly but Murat Ülker still follows the club despite having no financial interests as of this season.

I think we will take Amir too assuming he doesn’t cost too much. Decent little technical player that’s settled here now and probably suited to premier league football.

Vedat Muriqi seems like an obvious one to me. Ex Fenerbahce, mates with Acun. Just got relegated with Mallorca but scored 23 goals in Spanish top flight this season. Get him in

I seem to remember we were linked with him when Acun first took over. He'd have been very handy in the championship, not so sure about the prem?
