Yeah I'm very much in the circle the wagons stage of grief now. Embrace the hatred, what were we known for before this? Oh yeah losing 9-0 twice

I don't give a **** if we're hated, if it encourages our fans to shed the plucky little family club moniker I'm all for it. Deal with our **** internally. Fire Parsons, fire/don't fire Tonda (I don't give a ****) throw as much ****ing money as PSR will allow for next seasons squad and start really firing back with our own media stories, stop the naivety and actually fight.

**** the EFL
**** Boro

*edited to add, make St Mary’s as unwelcoming as possible for away fans. Dont serve them alcohol, get rid of all TVs/fan zones for them. Do everything to make it a miserable place to

And scream and scream and scream until we are all sick.

Saints had no objections to the people on the panel, let's not go down that route. We got caught, tried to lie our way out of it and got what we deserved. We ****ed up the hearing by not taking it seriously enough, our fate is entirely of our own doing and all of my anger is still aimed at Parsons and co.
And that's my point we should have. Parsons rolled over like a good little doggy

As in we should have questioned who was on the panel? I feel like it's semantics at that point, based on what's come out, I don't see how a different panel would have made a different decision. I'm not sure on some of the finer details but we appealed to a different panel didn't we who agreed?

Almost certainly wouldn't have made the blindest bit of difference, but we got a whole 2 points shaved off for being compliant. Should have totally ****ed them about instead if that's all it was worth

Read every thread & post. Don’t comment too much but absolutely gutted, sad, feel cheated by my club. Spoke to my son y’day & like at lot of other (probably) won’t renew our ST’s. What a **** show. A club I’ve feverishly followed & supported since very early 70’s. Disgusted by the “apparent” senior management & board level arrogance. Tarnished, tainted & cheated. Lost my love. So so sad

Absolutely gutted to not be on the way to Wembley with me arl fella! Saw him last night & we made light of the situation, but having not been able to reach the semi due to family commitments with my partner fam, really feel like one of those great rare days out with my Dad at a special game been torn away (as I’m sure all of us feeling exactly the same in our own way)

All this said… me and the mrs are in the sunny Cotswolds lapping up this glorious sunshine. It could be a lot worse, would encourage all of us to try get some of that Vitamin D to ease the pain!! Ignore the noise & up the Tigers, enjoy whatever you all get to do with this lovely Saturday Saints fans & as always Up The (not so) Super Spying Saints!!

I know we are all fuming, and I don't expect this to happen in the slighest, but how would everyone feel if Tonda apologised and said the only way to make things right is on the pitch.

Then we start next season like we finished this one and are competing at top for automatics.

Would people still refuse to go to games, or if it looked like he was taking us up, would we forgive him as we ultimately got there anyway?
I would support that approach. But I am not sure how many of the players would

Thought his statement was pretty terrible as an unbiased observer. They should all have the decency to walk.

His statement was appalling. Basically amounted to "Oh but look at Chelsea and Luton doe!!!" and saying we had a £200m punishment when we still had a game to win.

Him trying to minimize the Luton punishment just cos of the finance aspect was pathetic. Dropping out of the EFL is a much bigger deal than missing out on promotion.

I do wonder what would have happened had this emerged a bit later and you won today.

We might well have been able to delay it until after today if we didn't respond the day of the charge with a lie, and then have that clown rock up in the Boro boardroom the following day saying "sorry about that, we'll pay a fine".

The whole amateur nature of both the spying itself and how we've handled the charges is much more annoying than the fact we did it or the punishment handed down.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I've never been overly concerned whether other fans or the media like us or not. I'd almost prefer to be "hated" so the players and manager can use that as fuel throughout the season.

Fan's still like and support players/club managers that have actually commited crimes that are serious i.e. sexual assault or manslaughter which is insane.

Unfortunately for me personally, the stink is still there and if it's true he A) didn't know the rules well enough to know what he did was wrong and B) pressured staff to do things they didn't want to do, then I don't really wish to support a club that fosters that sort of culture just because things are going okay.

Also if we continue and play well without spying then it makes question why the **** we did it all in the first place.

But most importantly this is a serious **** up that was clearly systemic and it needs to be treated like the club as such and heads should roll for this, especially from those who knew and sanctioned it.

I couldn't care less if other fans like us. As I said the other day that's a skate mentality imo.

I think next season is going to be fun being a pantomime villain for the first few months. Especially if we do well.
