Just to play devils advocate for a second (and sorry if someone has said this but I am too lazy to read all the comments) maybe Tonda was telling them to get on with the spying as when he was an analyst that was just seen as part of his job, so was essentially telling them to get on with their job from his point of view.

David Winnie was at Aberdeen many moons ago. If his ability as a lawyer is anywhere near as bad as his ability as a player, then no wonder we were screwed.

It does feel like that if we had even a half competent CEO, we might have been looking at a points deduction and a seven figure fine.

I'm not talking about the morality and player/manager trust that's been shattered, that's not what the CEO is ultimately paid for when something like this happens.

I'm not sure how Solak doesn't do anything but a scorched earth approach to the whole club management setup this summer.

For it to be a truly Independent panel there shouldn't have been anyone associated with football on it because they would never be unbiased.

Have Middlesbrough breached EFL Rule 3.5 = No Club, either by itself, its servants or agents, shall by any means whatsoever unfairly criticise,
disparage, belittle or discredit any other Club or The League or in either case any of its directors, officers, employees or agents.
Or is this another Rule that has no punishment? Unless perhaps you are Southampton?

Just noticed on FB (I have lost the post, but a cut and paste of what I read)
"Also was the law firm Littleton Chambers, Adam Solomon, their Head. He represents Middlesborough FC, and one of his employees who has also represented Boro was on the panel. He represented. Pro when they took Gary Monk and Birmingham to court". (Needs a bit more research).
 
I find it interesting that depending on when you do a certain thing, you are treated differently!

Bielsa conducted spying all season(upto when he was caught) - considered a Genius!!

Tonda half arses the same thing for 3 games(yes I believe it was done more times) - Hang him now!!

Brian Clough was aggressive towards his players - considered a Genius!!

Tonda put pressure on some young interns - He's the Devil!!

I'm pretty sure that if Tonda was a long established trophy winning manager of a big club, he took would be considered a genius!

Yeah I'm very much in the circle the wagons stage of grief now. Embrace the hatred, what were we known for before this? Oh yeah losing 9-0 twice

I don't give a **** if we're hated, if it encourages our fans to shed the plucky little family club moniker I'm all for it. Deal with our **** internally. Fire Parsons, fire/don't fire Tonda (I don't give a ****) throw as much ****ing money as PSR will allow for next seasons squad and start really firing back with our own media stories, stop the naivety and actually fight.

*edited to add, make St Mary’s as unwelcoming as possible for away fans. Dont serve them alcohol, get rid of all TVs/fan zones for them. Do everything to make it a miserable place to come

Cloughie famously told Leeds players to "chuck all of your medals in the bin, because they were gained by cheating" when he became their manager.
He hated Don Revie because he considered him to be shady and immoral.
His players all loved him at Derby and Forest btw.
 
I don’t think everyone hates us. I ve not got that feeling here on Teesside. Most of the blokes I’ve spoken too are annoyed but see the expulsion as the fair response. They all say Saints were a good club, apart from this huge ricket. A lot the ‘hate’ is social media hype
