How things have changed. Watching the FA Cup pre kick off. Who remembers the pre game singing with the guy on the raised stand, all crowd joined in. All we have now was a poor rendition of Abide with Me, the National Anthem sung by a mass choir, and about 10% of the squads joining in. Even the English players don't join in. We certainly have changed, and not all for the better.
Emi Buendia puts Villa 0:2 ahead in tonight's Europa League final against Freiburg in Istanbul, with a fantastic left footed, curling strike into the top left corner in added time in the first half. Villa's first was almost as good, from much the same spot, a Tielemans volley direct from a corner. Unai Emery well on his way to a fifth Europa League title.

Buendia was outstanding last night and has been all season. Villa were also very good, l saw my 1st game at Villa Park in 60s,they played Man Utd, and Denis Law got sent off.

Dipping in and out, Borough better team, not very good game though from what I have seen.

Only goal difference kept Hull in the Championship in 2024-25; one season later they are in the EPL. Hats off to them.
Great to see West Ham relegated after the way they treated Moyes.
Middlesbrough never laid a glove on CITY...Defence just knocked them back every time....They created jack sh!t....But, to be fair, neither did CITY.
