Speaking of nonsense, Ian - “Solak has no choice but to cash in”.

Err…yes he does. He doesn’t have to sell in the slightest. He can very well clean up the **** the club management left for him.
How do you think season tickets sales will be this summer ? Solak is not going to get anywhere near the revenue. This is a Ratner's moment for SR. No proper control over management.
We qill lise our best plsyers , have to find a new manager and are running the risk of beong sued by other clubs.

I think Solak has been let down by his staff. How does he fix the problem when Saints are such a toxic brand ?

Just wanted to come on here and vent my disgust of Sports Republic who have once again embarrassed our club, only this time so much worse than l thought possible. Throughout my 60 years of supporting my local team, wherever l have travelled, l have always received courteous comments about my team. I know now, for the rest of my life, wherever l travel, what the first comment l will receive when l mention Saints. I will carry that knowledge to my grave.

Going forwards, l hope that Sports Republic do the only honourable action available to it, and actively seek a suitably diligent and honourable entity to buy them out.

However, l am not naive enough to believe there is much chance of that happening.

I regards to the EFL, they have nothing but my utter contempt, the punishment far exceeded the offence, as those most affected are the players and the fans, who had nothing to do with the stupidly exercised my the team management, and thereby the ownership.

I'm not sure I want Spors, Tonda and anyone else who knew out.

Yeah they did wrong but it was an attempt at improving Southampton FC.

It has backfired spectacularly but this is not a selfish act that was only looking after themselves(not saying they personally would not have benefitted from promotion).

This is not Tonda setting up on purpose to lose a match, because he has been given a brown paper bag full of cash. This is a stupid thing that I am sure most other clubs do, certainly pre Bielsa it would have been rife. This is something across Europe and even in the Premier League is not against the rules.

If Tonda had broken the rules and been tapping up a player, would we all want him gone? Did Liverpool want Klopp gone?

I think the EFL have decided to throw the book at us and I feel we need to use this to Galvanise us, stick together and show the world we are Southampton! We are a family and we stick together.

I know we are hurting but how many of us have been let down by a family member or friend who was actually trying to help us? I know I've done things in the past for the good of the family that hasn't worked out, glad my family never shunned me!

Thinking more about the EFL, I feel that they are almost like a reverse Premier League. The Premier League looks after their top teams because their product suffers without them. The EFL punishes their top teams as their product suffers without them! They have ensured the mighty Southampton stay in their top division for at least one more season!
Players and fans will never forgive Tonda. He will be banned anyway so has to go and go today

Season tickets might be a bit down, but if we suddenly bring in a well respected manager and make a couple of good signings, it won’t be anything like as bad as you seem to think. Hugely unlikely that Solak sells when the valuation of the club will be tanked. Can it go down more? Of course it can, and he might decide he has had enough. But this overly emotional moment isn’t the time anyone is going to be making huge decisions like that.

As I’ve said, think we should give Tonda his final season. He owes us. We are all feeling disappointed, devastated (pick whichever you like). Apart from this massive cock up, we have had a great, enjoyable season. We’ll all be there cheering on the team at the start of the next season.
There's no world where Tonda is in charge next season.

This is the kind of Bullshit journalism that has really pissed me off over this. Cheats don’t prosper. Yes they do mate. Man City, Chelsea, Forest, Everton, Leicester who have cheated through a whole season with City for several seasons. West Ham with the Tevez saga etc. The bigger teams make up the rules as they go along.
Journalist continue to laud Man City and Pep’s achievements whilst knowing that they’ve for a record number of breaches to answer for, but Southampton are the cheats. No, the manager and more than likely, sporting Director, were the cheats.
But our crime was to get a bare minimum advantage, whilst the named clubs blatantly cheated over the course of the whole season, or 10.

That is a good read and they are 100% right. So many laws broken all the time but in my eyes the seriousness of ours is very low down, yet Tonda will get sacked/banned etc! Bielsa is a genius! Abromovich was reverered, Man City owners are legends!! It stinks, it really ****ing does!

I would love football as we know it to implode at some point, Football can then be reborn better than ever!
