One player that I don't think has got enough credit outside of Sunderland is Enzo Le Fee.

11 League goals and assists is as many as Saka, it's 1 more than Palmer and Doku and 2 more than Ndiaye.

49 chances created ranks 14th in the Premier League, above Gibbs-White, Rogers and Bernardo Silva.

He's not just a flair player though, 85 tackles, ranks 11th in the Premier League, only 2 off Moises Caicedo's record.

He's an absolutely brilliant footballer, and to my (likely quite biased eyes) one of the most underrated players in the Premier League.

Still can't believe we managed to sign him when we sat 4th in the Championship!

His signing changed the mindset at the club, it showed we can attract top players and make it feel like a home for them.

He is up there with Xhaka for me.

I completely agree mate....I love him...such a good footballer.
Only, please don't post this stuff any more.....other clubs may see it! :emoticon-0105-wink:

Yep! But not just his flair which makes him, as dougie mentions, he’s pretty much the complete midfielder with goals, assists, tackles, chances created and everything that goes with it.

Eric Roy the last Frenchman who got me as excited

You've done it now....Eric Roy's mate @Bob the Mackem will be along any minute! Notwithstanding, I agree with you in a way.....Eric was a quick touch player like Enzo, but, without the workload. I know we can't compare different eras, but I think we have the real deal here.

When the Everton goal went in my heart sank because I initially thought it was O'Nien ...

... I was just picturing the posts when I saw it was Xhaka, daft as it sounds I was quite pleased <laugh>
And,sadly, the reason for your thoughts were that,if it had been Luke, the knives would have been out, whereas,Granit has infinite leeway.
The truth is that Luke was outstanding when he came on......yes,he has a mistake in him every now and then.....but,he was top drawer yesterday and ,in the dressing room, epitomises where we are as a club.....so important!
I remember his debut for us against...I think it was....Charlton,when he played in midfield, and he looked completely lost......think he was taken off.?
From that day to this, what a player!

Made him looks silly and I've always been quite impressed with Tarkowski when I've seen him play. Always looked strong and capable in those situations, not against Brobbey!
For Brobbey's first season in English football, he has been immense. He hasn't been on it every game but his progression has been really enjoyable to watch. Big credit to the lad, and the coaches.
