It gets worse!
I asked my friend to send me the money for 2 tickets. He said he was waiting for money to come from his daughter into a Revolut account. I asked if he could pay using his usual bank account or pay the money into his Revolut account.
He wanted to give me his card for 2 tickets. I dont think City accept payments on two cards.I wasnt happy with using someone else's card anyway with a different address.
I said I might be able to use his card for all 4 tickets and I could send him the money. But I dont like that idea because of the address problem. I assume City have my bank details anyway.
My friend seems to have an aversion to doing anything simple!
I'm paying for my other friend's ticket because linking him wasnt a problem but I can imagine a lot of problems getting the money refunded from these other people.
I have now tried 3 people's account numbers and surnames and not been able to find them when doing a search. My friend did searches as a test and he couldnt find them either!

Peter, when others are fecking about there comes a time when you have to look after yourself, perhaps the time is now.

It’s literally this simple.

You book tickets. They give you money.

You get to put it on your credit card and get the points/air miles/whatever the **** it is they’re bothered about because you’re the donkey doing the graft. If they want it any other way, fukm.

Hiring Wembley is a lot of money, the EFL will be paying that from their share.

There will be a penalty clause for not using the stadium but if the independent body rule that Saints are out I dont think the EFL would be in financial trouble by having to ditch the game. It will just be a kick in the teeth they can probably recoup in fines

I’m but a bit ****ed off with this ticket lark, I couldn’t get to my laptop while about 9:15 on Friday. So the only place I could buy tickets was in the gods. Now they’ve released loads more cat 2. It’ll be a ballache trying to swap them

I personally put a lot of the blame on SM ,all the keyboard warriors etc in all types of news stories can get blown out of proportion , or turn downright nasty .

I suppose it’s just like - you don’t get something for nothing , or be careful what you wish for .

I have got the money and three of the 4 linked. If it only needs a +1 I can get all 4 tickets but if they all need to be linked I can only get 3. The 4th guy would have to phone and try to get one ticket near the rest of us when they release tickets for general sale.

Went for 209 in the end! Middle tier towards a corner. Was debating holding out until the decision as we also have a personal clash in the mix too. Decided to just roll with it.

On a football note I think the saints boss if we play them will have quite a bit of trouble working out what team and what set up will we play . We’ve been so Jekyll and Hyde as a team with no weekly consistent method mainly due to injuries .
