Yeah, if you need a hotel for the night, anywhere West towards Amersham, Chesham and Watford are decent. Last time I stayed in Rickmansworth and it was far enough out for a family room to only cost us about 100 quid, despite it being on a direct line, albeit 25 mins away
Driving down Friday 22nd. I'll be looking for a Premier Inn in the Stevenage/Welwyn Garden City area, for decent road connection, stay there, then train into KX, underground from there. When I went to the Bristol game, we stayed in Romford, drove along the North Circular and parked in Harrow on the Hill. Think I'll use the train this time. Need to get a ticket sorted first.

He normally is against us <laugh>

Funny never really rated him but he just tends to have his best games vs us. And we usually seem to just let him have loads of time and space to do his thing.
I heard, from a reasonable source, a Wednesday fan, that Bannon is heading back to Hillsborough for next season. That was his last game for Millwall.

I stayed in Stevenage one year. Soulless place but works well. We jumped on the train there that had come down from Hull or Donny. Full of city fans.

Great for trains into Londidium. Both intercity and the chuggers.

What a game, I wanted to get to the pub to watch this one, but due to a few things had to watch it from home with coffee instead.
But it was a brilliant performance & Sergei got his team right, gutted for Joseph though. Not seen anything about his injury, but that boot he had on didn’t look good.
Finally, I’ve seen ticket details coming out on Wednesday, but any idea when they’ll announce the KO time, same time? Why isn’t it already known?

Finally back to my hotel after a 2 hour journey from Millwall to Old Street. Police penned us in outside the ground for half an hour, then shut the station. I legged it to Surrey quays only to discover the northern line was closed when I finally got to London Bridge.

And to top it all off some nob has put chicken balti pie filling all over my cream rain mac. Can't believe we have fans that think that is funny to one of their own.

Anyway, we are off to Wembley!!!

For those on a tight budget Premier inn Brentford and kew gardens are always cheap. Theyre an arse to get to but they are good prices normally and youre within london. Z hotels also very good prices usually but I fear they may go up now. I booked months ago. The old street one is best for kings cross, 2 stops on the northern line.

Irritating but probably an accident when a goal scored..

Sorted. staying in Stevenage...Now just need to sort out a ticket...I guess us Season Ticket holders get first dibs.

Feels surreal that we're back at Wembley again. Tactical masterclass by Sergej tonight. Some parts of this season have been a struggle but the last 10 days have been amazing. Atmospheres and joy that we haven't had in 10 years at least. The club was in a horrible state five years ago and Acun has turned it around spectacularly. One more big day to come. Drink it in.

Hard to put into words how good we were tonight, particularly 2nd half. It looks as if we have come out of that dip in form in the nick of time, which must be a confidence boost going into the final.

I thought everyone had a good game, particularly Crooks, Belloumi, Slater and Egan. But top marks have to go to Sergej and the coaching staff who got their tactics spot on.

Well, we have never lost a playoff final, can we make it 3 in a row?

Finally a big shout out for Acun, who went for a left field coaching appointment and got it spot on.

There's always the option of hotels in one of the scab commuter towns if you're struggling to get in London. Done it myself in the past.

One benefit of London and surroundings getting a disproportionate level of infrastructure investment. Easy train links.
Denham would be my recommendation, it’s less than 10 minutes on the train directly to Wembley Park. It never seems that busy and there’s always space in the car park at the station.

There’s not many hotels though so probably a better option for those that are driving rather than staying over.

You ain't lived until you've changed ****ty nappies in an aeroplane toilet.
We took our 9 month old to Nashville last year as I had to go for work. 5 hours in and she’d gone through all the nappies we packed (I’ll spare the details!). I’ve never known panic like sitting on a plane for 4 hours knowing that another poo could come anytime and there was nothing we could do about it!
