I can see what you're saying, but would someone who's only 8 months into his career (destined for either a bumper new pay deal here, and even offers from bigger clubs in Europe) risk it all when he's had such a meteoric rise?

I still don’t agree with points deductions as a punishment though as it doesn’t feel anywhere near as much of an unfair advantage as many clubs get for flouting the spending rules. But we’re Saints, so no doubt we end up with a bigger points deduction than ****ing Leicester got. Genuinely embarrassed and annoyed by our clubs behaviour here. If this was happening to another team, I’d think them scummy idiots, and want their opposition to win. So that’s what we’ll be up against now. Well done Saints.

Wonder why they don’t just name who it was. There have been enough clues that some rough guesses could be made surely. Have we got no one left that’s ITK with these things anymore?

So if I put my unhelpful hat on now, I have drilled it into my own head that tomorrow could be a retroactive forfeit and now think i'll struggle to get myself excited by the game even if we trounce them.
