not as expensive as your trip Syd, but my Mrs piped up that it would be a good opportunity to make a trip of it, take kids to see the sights of London, couple of nights in a hotel with them, etc.......Haha one mate did suggest a similar strategy, just say I have to go help my mum out with something at her place and get back a few days later.
I've already mapped out the trip, would leave here Wednesday arvo and be back the following Tuesday evening, not even 7 days.

You mean the 2nd leg where they beat us 6-0?Hoping for a 5-0 as in probably gonna miss the 2nd leg
Liar.Tell her you’ve been to the doctors. I’m sure she’ll see the funny side afterwards.
This is a joke & I’m in no way suggesting Sydney should actually let his wife believe he’s on death’s door to blag a trip to Blighty

"Chocks away chaps...and dam the torpedoes"The anoraks amongst you, of which I am one, will love this. It shows how we got to this point.

I was there.Just what I thought but of Leeds or Doncaster the day Hull City met Bristol City in the Championship Play Off Final at Wembley, which Hull City won. Leeds or Doncaster? two fierce Yorkshire rivals playing off in the League One Play Off Final the following day and of course Doncaster Rovers won.
Only in regions not televised. The matches appear to be streamed on Tigers+
I couldnt see it mentioned earlier
There’s a failure on the track near Doncaster meaning that’s as far as Millwall fans travelling by rail can currently go.
Family member said there’s a lot of fans currently stuck there waiting to get through.
There was quite a bit of staff sickness posted in recent days at Hull Trains. Imagine being the poor buggers who are called into work and then stuck on a train with that lot!!There’s a failure on the track near Doncaster meaning that’s as far as Millwall fans travelling by rail can currently go.

Not only is there a points failure near Donny, but someone's now driven into a rail bridge in Goole and they've stopped trains crossing that as well. There’s a failure on the track near Doncaster meaning that’s as far as Millwall fans travelling by rail can currently go.
