Both Labour and Conservative NEED to do something radical over the next few months as we are sleep walking into a situation where that Trump Wannabe Farage will have the keys to Number 10.
No more time for empty lines like " we will listen to the people" "We will work even harder to make things better" and other bollocks they spew out... Now is the time for tangible policies and decisions so the electorate can see things are happening. Sadly I just don't see it from either party right now

Nobody is winning a GE outright so no future promises really matter. Labour could of course try doing something useful in the next couple of years of this Parliament that does something for the ever-squeezed middle. At least raise the tax thresholds. Cut employee NI. ****ing anything.

Brexit was a sad day for me and this is another ...

... the people blindly following Farage won't know what's hit them until it's too late just as the Trump fans are doing .

His supporters are too fanatical to see where this is going and they'll follow him into an abyss.

Time for me to start ignoring it all and leave them to it.

Starmer needs to grow a spine and put the left of the party back in its box, esp miliband and get rid his ill thought out climate policies. Yes I believe climate change is happening but this country and the EU are going to far to fast destroying us in the process.

I'd like to see Labour put the cat among the pigeons and call for a vote to rejoin the EU... Very risky strategy but one on which it will gain support it currently doesn't have

Just heard him say this on the BBC this morning, bloody plank.

So, as you've just said, you're extremely pleased to have voted for Brexit despite the people you voted for being a bunch of liars ...

... see, that's where I wonder what people were thinking tbh.
We were lied to when we first joined the EU.
We were told it it would only be for trading that's why it was called the Common market.
People who voted to join in the 70's were sold a lie by Ted Heath.
Look at what it has morphed into a massive Ponzi scheme run by corrupt bureaucrats.
If it went back to what it was first designed to do probably most people would vote to go back in.

It was a "common market" back then....but times move on and situations evolve especially in Geo Politics. It could be hardly a surprise that the EU morphed into the body it became. But the UK were significantly better off being in the EU than we are today...its not even close, and when you talk about about being lied to.. The Likes of Boris, Gove, and the biggest grifter in UK politics right now..the racist Farage lied through their back teeth when Brexit was voted on. We need to get back in ASAP

I don't want to see cats or pigeons or any kind of uproar. I just want quiet plodding government slowly getting things done.

Reform supporters want parades, flags and shouted speeches because it seems more exciting and positive ...

... it's all becoming so much like Trump's grinning sidekick that it's a little frightening tbh.

That would just entrench our polarisation even more, the problem is we're very divided right now, some work needs to go into finding out what issues overlap with groups of voters and if campaigning on those issues whilst attempting to bridge gaps is enough to win an election. I fear it isn't.

Politics is clearly polarised right now.. The scary thing facing the UK is a government run by a Posh Boy, Trump Wannabe. I despair at the working class in the UK blindly following this Eton Moron taking our country into a direction that will take years and years to Fix. He doesn't give a toss about the working classes, yet for some reason he has support and its based on securing borders...sound familiar... Look across the pond. And look at their economy... thats what we are look at right now.
Any party who stands on a platform of getting back into Europe would garner massive support, if they spelled out what the alternative is.

Reform are winning because they're directly courting a specific demographic, making people feel wanted and aligned. There has to be a way to find an overlapping politics that is unapologetic and broad at the same time, plenty of people who hate reform agree we need to secure borders, that needs to be a core tenet of a unifying party.
