Plym is spot on with the final league position and so gets an extra 40 points! Congratulations Plym but Musty - what can I say?

Wow....if Luton hadn't scored in the 93rd minute...Musty would have won by one point.....Meaning I would have been 7th (worth only 20pts).

Well don’t get the idea it’s hard work.
Yes I put a bit of time coding it up in the first place but in doing so, I’ve used a lot of functions I hadn’t used before - and given I’m no longer working, never would have, I enjoyed that.
But week by week, it’s 24x3 characters to set up the fixture list plus 24 characters for each of your score predictions plus 1 or 2 each for each goal time and 1 each for your jokers.
There are single characters for Double points, Goal Totals On/Off and Super Match.
Then there’s 24 characters for the results plus a maximum of 2 for the goal time.
So that’s far less than I’ve just typed…..
There’s a bit of moving of data between rounds and I keep Last, Current and Next versions so if someone makes a late query (Plym) I should be able to recover it.
Biggest pain in the backside is the FA Cup. Needs a bespoke team list each time. So for the first round, that’s 3 characters each for the team IDs (excluding PAFC which alteady exists) plus team name text x 23.
The other problem is that the top secret method I use to arrive at my forecasts and only works within the league framework.
The worst thing that could happen is that they change the number of teams in the division…. Or that we get promoted but I guess I’ll live with that!

The SM game yesterday.......Mansfield...5-4...Cardiff....who in there right mind would have dared put that result down.
OK Cardiff scoring four away was definately possible.....but Mansfield topping it with five.....now come on don't be silly.

Since joining this I have paid more attention to Argyle's results - sorry that you missed out on the last day - the slow start to the season cost you

After 90 mins the 40pts were yours....then came along 90+2 goal...which meant you and I had 20pts each.... and then 90+3 goal... which swung it my way.....

Added time should be banned. In the good old days they stopped the clock if there were stoppages and the game ended on 90 mins. You really knew when there were 30 secs left. **** this "There will be 5 mins added time" and 10 mins later they are still playing
