… Nedra Talley Ross has passed away aged 80.

I didn’t realise how good they were until the last few years …

… easily as good as any girl group in the last sixty years.

Ah man, thats sad.

That song brings back so many happy memories of my Mam.
She had a record player she would put on the floor in the sitting room...one of those where you could put 8 singles on the spindle, put the arm on, and it would drop them one after the other. She would have her singles scattered around it, and would play them for hours.
"Be My Baby" was one of her favourites, and it really reminded me of my Mam.

Thanks for posting that Smug, im off to listen to Del Shannon now.

R.I.P. Nedra, thank you for the "memories".

Not normally my type of music but Be My Baby is an absolute classic.
