Still travelling back.

Thought Farke got it wrong but at the end of the day they have £100 million players and we have the likes of £3 million Tanaka and a free transfer in DCL.

We didn't get hammered. Just lacked a bit of composure on the big stage. Days like today are good preparation for (hopefully) big things still to come.

The fans had a great day out. Shame about the result but the fans were great today. Much more prominent than Chelseas lot. Leeds took over the entire of Wembley. A day to be proud of.
They have spent around 1 billion assembling that squad together (with ins and outs I’m sure). So a bit of perspective needed here.

Chelsea keeper going down, pretending to be injured so that the players could discuss tactics, it’s a bluff.

Look at their technical ability and value, I’m not putting our players down but on paper they’re all far superior.

You look at the team sheet and you discuss our previous formation and think okay we know how to deal with that, the Chelsea players have tons of experience.

Do they really need to run to the sidelines to discuss tactics, surely they’ve already discussed what to do prematch

More likely they’ve seen how it gets in our mindset and the fans head and it was done to unsettle us, a double bluff. They know it incenses the players so they do it to unsettle and rattle us. Instead the minute the opposing keeper goes down we should put players in-line with the opposing technical area.

Their coach can’t leave it, If they get pushed (our player) go down like a sack of spuds, cause chaos, disruption, don’t give them a chance to chat amongst themselves

We changed from a back 3 to a back 4 after half time and we had them pinned in. Keeper went down under the coach's instruction and they were better afterwards.

They couldn't manage our tactic changed on the field so had an extra 5 minutes half time to change things.

Oh well our Wembley hoodoo strikes again. A good day out but obviously a ****e result. 4 Wembley defeats in a row and no goals scored.

Can't find excuses again, as it's a repeat offence. We took 4pts off them this season and I expected a 2 - 1 win against a managerless side.

If I'm honest while the atmosphere sparked into life occassionally, it wasn't anywhere near what our fans normally create. I know first half the team were flat and looked jaded, on top of the formation not working. A few good chants of United are back and MOT, plus You cheating bar stewards, you know what you are.

Chelsea drained the enjoyment out of the game with their bullshit theatrics. Class of 70 would be ashamed of them. Ref and linos as useless at dealing with it, appears to be the norm.

Saw some overly agressive handling of our fans by security/bouncers and they were thrown out before the match had even started.

Outside was a sea of yellow and white. Boxpark set up for Leeds but £12 to get in and no TV or screens in there so didn't bother. Long queues to get into bars around the stadium, let alone to get served. Inside was great. Pint inside the stadium was £7.90, pricey but not the £10 a pint I thought they would try.

Great view. A few seats around me empty which is sad because of demand but quite a lot empty in the Chelsea upper tiers.

I'm so glad to have been able to go as chances reduce over time. Had a great time, despite the result. Met some good lads for a few beers. Offered up my seat so a fella from Dublin could be with his son who was in a different section. Took me a while to understand him with his accent, combined with a wee bit of booze I had sampled.

Busy in t'smoke as London Marathon peeps were still commuting home post match, so standing room only on train, listening to Chelsea plonkers with their little flags, going on about beating Citeh in final! Deluded.

Onwards to Friday. Lets get the 3pts and relax a little

Got to say I thought Ampadu came up with a brilliant idea to bugger up these 'time outs' that keep happening. He went and stood with the Chelsea players and coach and all of a sudden the team talk is knackered. In future all of the outfield players of any team being subjected to this should do the same, clearly the authorities haven't got a clue how to stop this cheating.

Yeh I thought we were quiet once the match started… just had little to cheer about for the most part. First 20 of the second half it looked like we were starting to build momentum and the crowd started to get involved then they sucked the life and optimism out of us with the stop start ****housery.

Agree about fanzone. Huge queue from very early. We abandoned and went inside. Agree, it was the right move. Had good seats and a great day out but it would have been better if we’d turned up… or frankly even lost in a more entertaining game.

Trying to play out from the back just played in to their hands. Thats not even hindsight. I wanted that before the game.
I thought we went long most of the time, lost the ball and invited pressure. Dcl was isolated though so maybe dcl and nmecha as a front 2 from the off might have been better. Either way we lost every second ball in the first half. Our midfield was out hustled.
