Unlucky guys...the **** club won.
Absolutely shocking that. Showed a bit of fight in the second half but some really slow/sloppy build up play. Not enough fight and desire like we have seen recently, really disappointing. One of the biggest game of the players life and none of them turned up. Thought Struijk was poor for the goal. Bogle not good enough today, just poor decision making. Tanaka not great either. Aaronson anonymous & ref was blind when it came to fouls on us but constantly gave them soft ones, just want some consistency from the refs. Poor from Chelsea with the keeper, blatant cheating, why is VAR not looking back at that and booking or sending off both players, it’d soon stop. Got to say DCL should be scoring that header too, great ball & anywhere else at the goal and it goes in or it has to be a great stop. Good to see Stach back & Okafor better in the second half.
Bottled it....Aaronson should have done better with his chance,good save from stachs shot but apart from that massive disappointment...big effort needed for Burnley a game we need to win after the results this weekend...

Another Wembley debacle. The occasion is just too big for us. We bottle it every single time
Hopefully the players will give 100% for the remaining games and not fear being injured and missing a cup final
Huge shame we never beat them but it was a nice run, hopefully plenty to learn from it, we’ve embarrassed ourselves going out early to non league opposition too many times, I’d have taken the S/F at the start of the season

They had a plan 1st half. Play a high line and sit on DCL, the MF was packed and they had 3 to our 2 so we were outnumbered. The time we did get through Aaronson should have scored. We needed James' pace to give them something to worry about. Changing to a 4 at HT got us back into it and, through the game, we had enough chances. Okafor greedy in the first half, waiting to long to deliver the ball or just poor quality. Our set pieces were awful.
i thought having Pedro back made a big difference but, apart from the goal, we were in control.

Kinell talk about rose tinted we i inly saw the second half and we lost that. Big upgrade on players needed to compete with the top ten in this league.
Ah well, at least you had the Wembley visit, take out the disappointment on Tottenham.
Farke using mind games so the lads don't let the game dwell. Burnley on Friday wont come soon enough for leeds.

Yeh it was a good day. Not sure Farke got it wrong really. The players looked nervy, we gave them too much space for half an hour. After the goal they offered nothing but we lacked the guile to break them fown.
Looked better with formation change at half time, but lacked the quality to create much. They managed the game out and it fizzled away in a mess of stop start time wasting
Think we should have done exactly what we did in the home game against them. Go two up top and go long, feed off the 2nd balls and bully them.
Trying to play out from the back just played in to their hands. Thats not even hindsight. I wanted that before the game.
