Unpopular opinion time. I just can't get excited for this match. Between the opposition and the venue, it all falls a bit flat for me.

A semi final should not be held at Wembley. It ruins the uniqueness and speciality of a trip to Wembley. It ruins the spectacle of a semi final, in my opinion.

Of course, should we win, itll be the best thing ever.

Still, I can't see anything past a City win.

Echoes exactly what I feel. Semi finals should be at Villa Park, Old Trafford or Anfield. Never Wembley. Wembley is like a second home for City, no real difference from playing them at the Etihad.

Anyway, I've compounded my misery with equating this distraction to missing out on the autos. Cup runs are great, they really are, but being honest they're only worth it if you win the bloody thing or if you've nothing else to play for. Who really cares about getting to a semi or even final if there's nothing to show for it? In 20 years time this is just another game barely anyone will remember.

Moaning aside, I hope those of you who are going have a cracking day with lots of nice cold beer <cheers>

Am happy for the players as not too many get to play at Wembley, but I agree with you. Wembley is for finals. All started when Spurs drew Arsenal in the semifinal and the larger venue was considered sensible. Was supposed to be a one off, but here we are years later.

Having said that, have a great day Saints fans!

Although without the cup run, we might not have maintained the momentum, generated by the confidence we got from beating Fulham and Arsenal. Swings and roundabouts.

I’m not half as buzzing as I was for the play off final and yeah, going to Wembley should just be for finals. Going through all of this just to get knocked out or to have to come back and do it again just isn’t the same as a final. But I know it’ll still be great when I’m there in a sea of yellow!
