Cheers for the welcome lads ( and lasses ), been viewing for around 3-4 years and thought it was about time i got me arse into gear and signed up.

It was the win over the Mags that tipped me over the edge, got jealous of everyone posting links and me not being able to see them :)

We'd have beat these last time round if it wasnt for Reinildos moment of madness getting sent off for lashing out at Matty Cash. We were battering them till that point. Im predicting them being in europe tonight to be the straw that breaks the camels back and we'll win fairly comfortably 0-2

Imagine being a CB facing this <laugh>

I know ive already put this pic on the Spurs thread, but the man really is a man mountain. Hes an absolute battering ram, and we're blessed to have him. How much did them up the road play for Woltemade again?? <laugh> <doh>

Nordi Mukiele:

️ “I have to say a big thank you to Granit because he explained to me everything, exactly what they wanted to do (at Sunderland).
And it has happened. I made the decision to come here and I am proud and happy about it. He convinced me it was a good project. Exactly everything he’s said would happen, has happened.”

Granit Xhaka:

️ “We took a big step from Leverkusen. Everyone knows what we did there, winning nearly everything, and it was a big step to come from a Champions League team to a newly promoted side.
But I had a gut feeling and sometimes the feeling is better than anything else. When the club asked me ‘who else could we bring?’ my first thought was Nordi. I spoke with him and thank god he listened. I just didn’t know he could score so much, he never did it in Leverkusen!”

️ “The team are starting to believe we can achieve special things this season.
️ “Let’s try and catch as many points as we can in the last 6 games, why not? Let’s see where we are at the end!”

And im sure all the lads are the same when they're away on international duty talking about us, very exciting times.

Thanks for the thread @RTB

Another one where I'm on the fence between an away win and a draw. Hopefully we've got enough in us to nick a win. Europe is there for the taking if we want it #daretodream
If we win this it’s absolutely on.

It remains possible whatever the result but a win in this and it may well become in our own hands.

Ah memories of the main square in Krakow. On the night England Women beat Germany in the Euros final, the bairn and me were sitting in one of the bar/restaurants watching the footy. Towards the end of the second half, they turned the volume down and a young lass with a guitar started singing.

The final whistle went, we were ecstatic and at that moment, the young lass started singing Wise Men Say. Honestly man, I was no good! Big teary happy mess!

Thanks RTB

Vile are going for a champions league spot... we are going for a euro/ conference spot (personally not sure, about it, unless squad increases hugely)

Could be a tough game!

Brilliant RTB and thank you!!!!
Highlight of the week when I see your excellent threads
:)
I think it will be a very tight game....Villa pushing for Champions League spot which sums up the level we are playing against.
Going for us to win this one 1 - 2 after being behind.
Think he will go for this line up:
Roefs
Hume Nordi Alderete Reinildo
Talbi Sadiki Captain Marvel Diarra Enzo
Beast
Just keep it tight again until we get the breaks.
My son in law and grandson are Villa season ticket holders so I hope they are not too happy Sunday night......lol.
The son in law knows in there for a game
:)
