This must be really hurting them. I've just seen the picture of their tifo. Bloody hell, a poor rip off of our Lambton Worm and snarling and pouncing black cat tifos. No originality and the cheap dig about "regional capital". Word to the wise, halfwits, there's no such thing as a north east regional capital, if there was it would be Durham as the bishop of Durham ranks 3rd behind the Archbishop of Canterbury and Archbishop of York and Durham was the most likely site if we'd voted for a North East regional assembly, no matter what bollocks you've had pushed into your collective heads since T. Dan Smith.

They really are a mirror of us. Arrogance instead of confidence, classlessness instead of class, no self awareness or humility instead of humbleness and self depreciation, only interested in the now or the rose tinted past instead of an appreciation of history, warts and all. Insecure, thin skinned insular people who want to be loved and admired instead of a "so what" take it or leave it attitude and knowledge of the wider world, a lack of originality and creativity and taking credit for others achievements or actions because of the need for validation. And topped off by selling their souls just to win the Carabao cup.

Excellent post, my favourite today!

Just been sat with Talbi’s Mam & Dad on the Edinburgh train …

… lovely people and obviously very proud of their son, off to the airport now.

I was showing them their son's goal when we took the photo.

A rare treat to spend a couple of hours speaking French, I miss that ...

... not sure they grasped what I was saying about scamming my way in without a ticket!

Stumbled across that horrific video of them all dressed as Saudis and singing about "Christian" Ronaldo cleaning tha boots and my skin crawled off my body, down the stairs and into traffic.

Absolutely cringeworthy, embarrassing nonsense from them.

Having said that, I think they need some new lyrics...

:emoticon-0159-musicWe've got Liveramento, standing still
we've got Big Dan Burn, getting megged
we've Sandy Tonali, bottling tha game
Wuh tha richest clerb in tha werld..... :emoticon-0159-music

The three players who were subbed off at 65 minutes. Woltemade, Elanga & Trippier had a total combined transfer Value of £136m, more than the total cost of our summer transfer business.
The players they brought on then, Livramento, Willock and Murphy have a combined transfer fees of £70m.
You combine that with Thaiw 34.6m for Botman, Wissa £55m for Gordon £45m and Osula £15m for Barnes £38m...

Its fecking frightening how reckless the Jawdees have been with their spending.

I've no idea if those figures are correct marra, but ,if they are,it's a great point and shows how badly they're being run.

Two serious questions as I'm slightly baffled.

1) Why don't Newcastle sack Howe.

2) Why don't the Mags want him sacked.

He's taken a team down to 12th, lost more games than Leeds, conceded more than Forest and scored fewer than Bournemouth. All of those teams are below Newcastle and, of course, they're just stats ...

... but they play such rotten, attritional football.

The move for our winner was absolutely sublime and Enzo displayed more skill in 15 minutes than any Newcastle player in the entire game. Gordon runs, cuts in and shoots or passes sideways which is his entire game and they don't have a centre forward as good as Brobbey.

They've spent an absolute fortune and the squad looks shambolic, I really don't get it ...

... are they really doing all this just do go for the chance of a cup?

thing is,

who will they realstically get,

they are saying get Jose, or Xavi or Cesc in,

but will they get them? can they attract that level of coach,

rumours is that they might have to sell before they can buy.
( and that PIF are getting bored)

They literally don't know what they are doing.

All the clubs in the PL, including us, and the other teams above us outside the top six, make a serious attempt to control transfers. They all have a plan and a structure of people to try and implement it. The failures are far fewer as a result

That lot have Howe and his nephew, and maybe some new bloke, and throw panic cash around. Not far off £300m commited in the summer, and the only one who has been okay was on the bench yesterday after a nightmare in the week.

Dysfunction doesn't begin to describe it.
