Well that has put a big smile on my face! Haven’t posted on here for the last few months as dealing with a lot of personal stuff ATM. Didn’t watch the game as needing to keep out the house as much as I can on weekends so had a lovely walk along the coast at Seaham and a wander around Hawthorn dene. Resisted the urge to check the score until full time and was absolutely over the moon when I did. And I’ve juat won on my accumulator thanks to Villa! The last time we beat these lot while wearing blue was the 1990 play‑offs — Gates and Gabbiadini sticking the knife in. If that’s not a cosmic omen, then the universe is broken and I want a refund.

Let’s be honest:

  • If we lose? Meh. am sure over the road will still find a way to blame the ref, the pitch, the weather, the moon, and the club shop.
  • If we draw? Full‑scale meltdoon. Threads everywhere. People typing in ALL CAPS.
  • If we win? Pure, biblical Armageddon. The kind where the mag forum goes offline “for maintenance” and half of Wearside spontaneously combusts with joy.
I was nervous at the start of the week, but now? I think we might actually show up. And whatever happens, I’ll take my hat off to those magnificent red‑and‑white (blue) bastards.

09 for me played well bar the initial **** up.
Whoever slates him during this game need a kick up the arse he didn't shirk anything.
The player who was missing all game was Diarra he was atrocious and not one person saying at the moment he should be nowhere near the team funny how people jump on the same player we won ffs.

Just got off plane in Lanzarote. On coach with 8 mags when they got their 2nd. Oh how i laughed when VAR stepped in. Anyway when Brian scored i was even less popular.
Did I cheer? At 100 decibels in their faces. Fkn luv it
