If I was Wilson, I would give Howe to the end of season but use the time to get a replacement agreed so at the end of the season it's a smooth swap out. The swap needs to happen within a week of the season ending so we can progress with signings over the summer.

The harsh reality is that Howe and his nephew have burrowed themselves into the heart of this club and Wilson was literally employed by Howe... So Howe is going nowhere.
The players are over coached and managed badly... They're not enjoying themselves at all. They have no freedom and know who the favourites are.
Spurs are about to take 1 point from the last 21. West Ham must seriously fancy their chances right now.
