Maybe that's him for the season and hes having a night off? Either way, it's up to the players to be ship shape, if they aren't all the data the carry around will soon highlight that they aren't on it a they'll be dropped.

This isn't the 90s
When we’ve had a season plagued with muscle and ligament injuries, with some players being out injured significantly longer than originally projected, and the club’s captain is out on the piss wearing a protective boot the same day he went off with an ankle injury, supporters will ask questions.

It’s pretty obvious some of them aren’t looking after themselves as well as they should be when recovering from injury.

And we are certain he's on the piss? Is he mixing his drinks? Has he lined his stomach or was it a late night kebab?

I need facts....

How many managers fail to know if see which oppo players might cause us the most problem ?
Any regular City fan and longer term player or coach with the Club know Jed Wallace will cause us problems given free rein . So their manager sees how poor Millar is as a left back and puts Wallace up there to do his stuff - Drameh would have been more effective .
Setting up to invite them on is not how Slater and Amir want to play so I think Sergei got it totally wrong .

If, and its a biggish if we make the play offs, let alone make the final... do you expect Coyle to be in a boot...apparently it was a kick to the same area no mention of. break or ligament damage like a tear... just bruising and swelling which has been covered by others above.. Ultimately he's the club captain.

We aren’t getting to the play off final. The dream is over, the bubble has burst…..

I was thinking actually of a film some might have seen, cant remember what it was and I think it reflects where we are at the moment. It was a steam ship and it started off well, then started to run out of fuel, so they started to pull the ship to bits to burn to keep it going.

My issue with it is not so much that they’re drinking at all (they’re adults). It’s that he’s gone on a night out wearing a protective boot the same day he sustained another whack to his already-injured ankle. There’s evidence that alcohol impairs muscle and ligament repair after injury and affects the immune system. Not only that, why has he gone out at all last night? Can’t he just have a night in and rest his ankle whilst watching Netflix or summat?

I’m not criticising his work ethic or blaming him for the game but he’s made a poor lifestyle choice that could impact his recovery and supporters have every right to call it out.
If it is really lewie I’m very disappointed in him that is rank stupidity
I did say awhile back when Mcburnie got injured with his calf?? He was out on the piss in his kit round hull city centre which is really unprofessional and didn’t help recovery
Is Serg the tough guy we all seem to think?
Because if this is going on he needs to sort it quickly or is it too late??

Does anyone think Serg is a tough guy?

Lewis has been on painkilling injections for a while with this injury. We’ve gambled him too much, the protective boot is to make sure he doesn’t further injure it but one could argue been out on the piss literally straight after isn’t wise for anybody.

Yeah and that was my point. Coyle isn’t the only one. McBurnie, Crooks, Lundstram etc. were doing it whilst injured too.

Reminds me what my mate who supports West Brom said when Corberán was there. He was quite tyrannical about standards but it worked. When he went to Valencia, the players just started taking the piss again.
