League wise, yes.

As a club, I really don't. We don't appear to be seeking much needed reinforcements, our managerial position is a joke, not going to start on KM.

They might be forgiven if they were horribly poor. He's worth circa £500million though.

He must be a very arrogant man to think that he can successfully run our club from his office in Belgium, bearing in mind his limited knowledge of football in general, and English football in particular, and a CEO with a legal background. With that sort of arrogance he'll find it very hard to admit to being wrong. It's his policies which have led to us having a substandard squad of players, and if he persists with them it's going to be downhill all the way.

Mr Fraeye has pointed out in his post match interview that he is 37 managed teams for 19 years including u 11s and under 15s so there you go ...he knows what he's doin

Okay, just a couple of thoughts. I missed this, but it appears post match that Karel said the squad is big enough because if we have 13 or 30 in the squad, we can only play eleven. Well, thank god he came from Belgium to solve that.
My sympathies are slight. RD built this disaster of a squad, but Karel was responsible for scouting by all accounts so it seems fair that he should enjoy the pleasure of managing them. But not for long. We need a real manager sharpish.

Wednesday 11/3/2026 away versus Middlesbrough 7.45 kick off

I think this is a bit of a free hit after our victory against Brum. A point would do, victory would be fantastic and a defeat probably doesn’t dent our chances of survival.

This will be a tough ask physically for our players but thankfully they’ve had one more day to recover and Sunday/Tuesday for Middlesbrough is hard.

I’d take a point at this er, point.

At least we haven’t got Karel Fraeye in charge

Definitely a free hit :1980_boogie_down:

If we get clobbered nobody will be surprised or outraged (except Global).
If we put up a fight and only lose narrowly then happy days.
A point would be a marvel <cracker>

Good shout. Their tails are up, that could be a tricky game.
We don't want to be gifting them 3 points.

Lloyd is on 9 yellows and the reset is after this game. Coady can cover the mighty Jones for one game, although Jones won't like missing a game.

Good luck chaps.

Really want a Charlton win tonight
I think what they need to consider is how many times have Charlton beaten Middlesbrough over the last thirty years?
Then look at how many times Charlton have beaten Millwall?
In the words of the great Eni Eluko "You do the Math!!" who would you rather play?

Up the Spotters!!!

I like Tigers but not Lions <cheers>
Tin hat time. If we don't go up I wouldn't mind Millwall doing so. The PL would hate it, the media would watch them like a hawk, and plod would be on high strength Xanax. Back in the day I went on coach to the old Den, the pillock. driver dropped us off at the wrong end. Plod escorted us through their fans to our end (probably deliberately), to say I was very quiet is like saying tomorrow is Thursday. :emoticon-0138-think
