Sergj post-match interview highlights
'Response to Friday was fantastic.'
'Naive penalty.'
'Great save from Pandur.'
'Tactical plan was very good.'
'I'm very happy because of Oli, but got to very careful with him because of calf injury.'
'We only wanted to give Oli thirty minutes.'
'Very important to get the early goal, because it gave confidence.'
'It's a very tight league, you win two and go up table, or lose two and go down.'
'Joffy has torn calf. Will be out for five weeks. Big blow and impact.'
'Mo was very good tonight.'
'Destan back for West Brom.'
'Injuries could be down to a limited pre-season.'

Joffy out for five weeks is a blow. Any news on Lundstram?

A really complete performance, a number of exceptional performances and McBurnie really reminded us what we've been missing in his absence. Very satisfying win. Once Millar and Belloumi are fully up to speed we're going to be a terror to deal with for defences.

Unfortunately solidified for me that Ndala just can't cut it at this level yet. Bounced off opponents far too often and was outmuscled and non-existent.

I’ll eat my words, that midfield did a really good job of dominating Wrexham.

Gyabi and Slater played their best games for us. Nice to see Belloumi back starting, although I thought he tired. Ajayi still had some brain farts but on the whole solid.

I still think we weren’t quite at our best but all we needed out of tonight was to bounce back after Friday. To get the win and a clean sheet is excellent.

Only just clocked McBurnie held the ball up in midfield before scoring, he’s a real asset to how we play.
We went from failing to win virtually every long ball to winning the majority when he came on. Instantly, he was there dominating their backline to get the first touch on the ball when it came long to him.

The second goal was crucial though. We should and could have had 5 before then. If we'd been 1-0 with 10 to go, you know we'd have slipped deeper and deeper and you know they've done it to us before... Not just us their record 90+ plus is eye opening. We just have to be more clinical in front of goal. McB's was likely the hardest of the chances....

It's a bit weird isn't it, feels like the site's reverted to a format from years ago.

It’s very 2005. It’s also less efficient as you have to click an extra time to see your notifications when someone replies to one of your posts. The new iPhone update has the same issues. More clicking to get to where you want.

while its obviously fantastic to have mcburnie back and he's a genuinely top level player at this level
it doesnt mean we need to be belittle joseph

these examples are why hes invaluable, and our whole team pressing was almost perfect last night

My thoughts exactly.

Quick return to normality required.

Champions league level running. We will do well to keep hold of him in January.
