A midfield of Crooks, Slater and Gyabi sends shivers down my spine and not in a good way. What does Gyabi do well? He’s immobile like Crooks but Crooks at least has a bit of technical ability. He’s just a big lump.
Time for Gyabi and Ndala to step up and for Joseph to have more impact in front of goal.
Crooks needs to be more influential anarl.
McBurnie on the bench, but he hasn't made an appearance yet. Is he really fit?
Confirmed he has a knock. You have to laugh otherwise you'd cry. Beyond ridiculous.
Especially with the size of Geldharts calves... I'm no expert (on much actually ha!!) but maybe when they get a kick adrenaline numbs the pain, they carry on and any bruising blood worsens with pushing it... all the same, I think we all agree, theres something the medical types are ****ing up on, not recognising etc..The calf injuries particularly. Can anyone remember the last time we had a calf injury before this season? They're not that common. But four players have had them now this season, two of them from being kicked? I have never heard of a kick causing a muscle tear before yet somehow it's all the rage in this team.
I dont think we jump often enough or at least high enough or even when we're supposed to jump Brady...Are we doing too many jumping exercises in training under serj?

There probably is a link between the playing style and the injuries. He said from day one we'd be physical and all-action. Teams like that often have a lot of injuries, Bielsa's Leeds being a famous example. Maybe it's a worthwhile trade-off since we are having a good season, but you wonder whether this rate of injuries is going to overcome us at some point.
They play one up frontI think five at the back would have been a good idea with Belloumi in the attacking midfield. They bombed us out in the league cup
