RIP Billy Bonds Twenty-one years as a player for West Ham and four as their manager. They don't make them like that anymore.
Until I moved in 2023 I'd still see him walking through Bromley. He could still do 90 minutes, he did not have an ounce of fat on him. I believe he lived around Chislehurst.

I was not at the Valley today but a relative of mine was. The person who has passed away was known to her, and was well known in that part of the ground I understand. This is a terrible tragedy. I'm sure all the thoughts and sympathies of every Charlton fan are with him and his loved ones.
