Someone on the pitch should have been directing a player or two to target with an out ball but I fear we don’t have that sort of captain , as you say Ollie would have helped .

    Hull City 1-2 Ipswich Town

I still have nightmares about that 5-2 defeat in 2007

Someone just needs to get close to Greavesy in the box and he’ll pull them down. Gelhardt for me.

Dunno Ernie but he needs targetting if he does. They might start him as he knows one or two of our lads strengths and weaknesses.

That's the problem I think we have, our captain isn't vocal at all with the team on the pitch.

Lundstram will give us that once he's back, he never stops organising and talking to them.

Just for a laugh? Ha ha ha. Bet you're a friend of Sacha Distel as well!

As for the game, I've gone for a nervy 2-1 win. Bouncebackability!

The funny thing is if we lose this and struggle over the next few the same people that rubbished all those xG tables that suggested we'd been riding our luck will be searching for answers to why the sudden dip in form.

we rode our luck recently but on Saturday we were found out. i expect that to continue and it will until we improve our field game. We need someone to take the game by the scruff the neck. Zambrano did i last year against QPR when he came on at half time. At the moment we dont have a player like that who wins the ball and gets things moving (without passing it and giving it away)

One things for certain, it won’t have anything to do with xG.

Ipswich have some very good finishers, a bit like us. Philogene for one. If they get 20-odd shots again then you can easily see him burying a couple. We can't be that open again in this one.
