It's been going on since the 40s you so "educate yourself" first.

In 1952, they halted the initial experiments after the Lynmouth floods cause over 30 deaths.

It's just another example of "educated" Toby knowing **** all other than what he reads in the Guardian or sees on the Beeb.

And the recent grant was not for use in the UK?
