Yes they have. The red sox have trades loads of plauers for massive money and massive contracts get awarded.

They have not put that much in either they got huge fund back from other transfers to enable that spend.

He refuses to touch salah most of the time. The guy is a shadow of his former glory.

Hes not used endo at all if he can avoid it. So gravenberch and macallister are wrong out.

He's made a call for kerkez to be dropped but Robertson isn't up to 2 games a week and hasnt been since a dislocated shoulder over a year ago now.

Slot.seems to have major trust issues with some players.

What i found poor yesterday was not the expected difference in fitness but the lack of awareness tactically.

Doku was hanging round narrow on the left or in the middle. He was positioned because they knew bradley has no cover. One ball out with a switch.. a quick pass inside to doku and hes in.

That says to me people are seeing gaps in cover and setting up to exploit it. They are walking through us.

We were so disciplined v real Madrid but now I wonder had a shot gone in for them would we have fallen apart there too?

We need cms to stay and cover but when you are 1 or 2 down they go and they all go and it becomes a **** show at times.

 

This is definitely a huge problem. Absolutely zero patience. We concede with 70 odd minutes left in the game but we act like there's 7 minutes left on the clock and forget about shape and tactics - it's suicidal

 

I didn’t even consider the Red Sox tbh. I have no idea about how baseball works tbh so can’t possibly comment. But I will say that it is not just about performance. It’s about a return on investment which is about the monetising of the performance against the investment made. If the current or future investors aren’t happy with our performances because it relates directly to value, there will be no more investment. I think that normally it takes a year to work through the books so Slot should have time tbh but let’s be clear, no success = less income = less investment (or even a divestment of assets to balance the books). So it may not be in Henry’s playbook, but I have zero doubt that if he gets shareholder friction and questions Slot, he’ll be gone.

 

I watched the Newcastle/Brentford game before ours and Dan Burn literally kicked the Brentford player in the box, ok so the Ref missed it and booked the Brentford guy for diving, but VAR looked at it and then came back with 'minimal' contact, agreeing with no pen and the dive but saying there was a kick on the shin.

Move forward 45mins and Doku gets grazed by Mama's knee and falls over 5 seconds later, no pen at first, but wait VAR looks at it and says clear contact (and has to slow it down so much to see it) and gives the penalty.

There in lays the madness, you can't claim minimal contact one game means no Penalty and the next give one for even less contact.
VAR needs relegating to offside only and even then it should be the automated ****. Human opinion needs removing from off field decisions.

 

We need the rule of Milner: anyone over 30 that can't match 90% Millie's training stats gets sold lol.

Maybe bring Milner back just to take part in training!

 

Thing is,if that goal is given as it should have been its 1-1 going in to the break and game on ....I thought Citeh were the better side overall,but
that ridiculous decision could have affected the result.

 

It’s incredible tbh. I’ve always talked down the ‘corruption’ allegations but as every week goes by there is more and more of the same incidents with different outcomes happening and then you look across to what’s being uncovered in Turkey and have to wonder

Im as sure as sh*t smells that there’s bribery at times in the English game. I’d like to think that it is limited to betting syndicates and perhaps a very small minority of officials on the odd occasion but we’ve already seen that referees are from from perfect and their integrity can be questionable….so they’d be easy pickings for the shady world of betting.

 

Don't know, but I hate going into a break on the back of a defeat. People say we can benefit from the break but I've never seen it happen.

 

I doubt they care. Its about asset value and ability to leverage so putting loads of young players in increases the value of the club so they can borrow against thr asset
