Brentford will bring you back down to Earth
That performance wouldn't beat brentford.
That is absolutely true.
It's up to the players to take it on from this level and improve again to take on brentford.
Brentford will bring you back down to Earth
Isak off after feeling his groin (Oo-er) at Ht. So imagine will be at best on bench for Brentford so easy move to bring Salah back RW and Gakpo Ekitike Salah front 3.
already seen it in this thread.
Wirtz got two assists but could have been a lot more; he created three more chances that others failed to finish (not criticising them, just saying) and would have had a goal had Salah passed too (he's never passing with how desperate he is to score).
Fully agree not sure what Chiesa has to do to get a start would like to see him in a full strength team from the start to see how he does.Without doubt, that'll be what happens. But it should be Chiesa rather than Salah
This is REALITY not negativity.
You lost me at this point as it is all super negative.
Only if you promise not to be catty. Is it safe to come out now?

Well that's entirely predictable.
You keep going rewriting history mate btw.
Talking about goals that were not scored wont cover up the clear things we need to see improvement on.
The reality is that no matter how many excuses are made we have been losing for certain reasons that will still be there if we dont get far more aggressive.
Depends how I'm feline.Only if you promise not to be catty.
Fur enough.Depends how I'm feline.

1. We played a side as bad as southampton were last year. They were literally that bad.
2. We conceded again because we fell over each other (lack of trust) and failed again to get out and challenge.
3. We scored of set piece because their sole tactic was to fall over and beg for frees. When have you seen konate make tjst good a header? Never. He usually skies them as he rarely is allowed get a good contact and often closes his eyes.
4. Ekitike ran off robert Koch. A total mismatch.
5. We started to press and run up top. Chiesa was great when he came on. Once thry started getting the idea that letting a guy passed them wasnt going to cost the game they finally started getting up there and frankfurt had no answer
6. We were still far too easy to run through and too in love with retreating off plauers and leaving them all the room to pick their pass.
This is REALITY not negativity.
We need more aggression, more intensity, more desire to get a foot in.
Once they went down their heads dropped and ours came up and we finally started to really do what we needed to.
We need to take that press to brentford but realise that brentford will put their bodies in the eay and take a kick to defend well.
We have to get thst aggression into what we are doing.
Last year you'd see macallister get 4 or 5 fouls in before a ref would do anything as they were aggressive in tight grab the guy or snap at their heels type stuff.
I want to see us not allow people turn and certainly not allow runs at us.
Yeah, I wouldn't argue with a lot of that, and whalloping a mid-Championshipship level side (after somehow allowing them to dominate the start of the game, and then to score a goal after not one player put a challenge in on them in the run-up) shouldn't be fooling anyone that we've turned a major corner. Then again, although we were poor in those four games we lost, we weren't as bad as when slumps in in 2021 and 2023. We should also recognise that the first seven games we won on the bounce after the Community Shield were all close and decided by late (lucky?) goals. The fickle finger of fate and all that, as we lost four games when we weren't that much worse than in those first games, but our luck had run out.
So no, I ain't getting carried away that our form has massively improved, but I am hoping that we are entering a period when we're not relying on luck anymore to to not get beaten, because I think we used our quota up in August and September.
