Gor tickets to see these next week, but I'm going to be away up north so jnr and his pal are going - gutted, as this is second tour in a row of theirs that I've had tickets for and not made the gig
English Teacher have re-released their album, all remixed by guests - some absolute peaches on it... This one is banging...
Mrs SM out tonight with her sister to see Deacon Blue at The Hydro, hideous arena venue in Gkasgow... I saw them years ago, in 1988, at a night club in Bristol, the Bierkeller, doubt it's still there. Met Ricky Ross and Lorraine McIntosh in the pub across the road before the gig and had a drink with them, think it was just after they'd released their first album. Remember it well as me and a girl spent the evening at the upstairs bar chatting, she"d been the singer in the support band. We were getting on well, long kiss at the end of the night. Thought I'd never see her again....until I tuned in to Top of the Pops the following week and this came on!
Wasn't a fan of a grand don't come for free Might dig it out and give it a listen http://youtube.com/post/UgkxyqRaYdrsjbjkj0r0CnUqz7ytABlpr6Ae?si=gQYws-Pqok0jSDof
