Yes he is I know a couple of Charlton fans and he's very popular with them. As they see it, he's had them punching above their weight, is getting the club back to where it ought to be and shows a lot of passion and emotion in the process. He also came through as an academy coach there so they feel a bit like he's one of them Apparently he did actually lose a majority of the fanbase at one point last year through crap performances and weird interviews which rubbed fans up the wrong way, but he vowed to turn it around and managed to do so
I always thought Juric is a decent manager. There was absolutely no way he could turn our fortunes around, maybe if he’s came in at pre season, but we were doomed well before he came in
It is salutary that Will Still has only retained a handful of last season's squad and that so many have been offloaded. More a judgement of the attitude amongst the playing staff than on Juric. I do not think Juric was a bad appointment, just that his was a hopeless task.
