He's 23 and a right footed CB. He played on loan at Salford last season in L2 playing 32 games. So has experience at this level. DC said Negru was a late opportunity that presented itself to Rovers. DC gives credit to the recruitment team in tracking the player and getting the player in the door.
Oxford fans seems to love him and thinks he is too good for L2 and is shocked we've pulled off this deal.
Ryan Loft has joined Crawley. We have faced him twice already. Now we got to face him another 2 times!
That would leave us light in midfield unless the club have a deal for another midfielder up their sleeve.
We have signed Freddie Issaka from Plymouth. 19 year old attacker with bags of pace apparently and enjoys his 1 on 1's. However, Plymouth fans thinks he isn't good enough for L2 and feel he shol4ud have gone to non league first.
Hutchinson off to Cheltenham on loan apparently. This was announced by Dan Hargraves before the 7pm deadline but nothing confirmed as of yet.
According to Gloucester Live Cheltenham hope to sign Isaac Hutchinson on loan today, We still have Mola hoping he would have departed today permanently
Hutchinson has officially left the club and joined Cheltenham linking up with his former boss at Walsall Michael Flynn. Season loan.
22 year old Alfie Chang has signed on loan from Birmingham with an option to make the deal permanent. He's a combative CM.
Don't think Hutchinson will be missed that much, especially as we appear to have signed a attacking midfielders
A good transfer window I think. We’ve got some decent young players on loan, we now have quite a bit of strength in depth. DC has got a 26-strong squad at his disposal which is probably slightly more than he wants but as we were unable to shift Mola and others it is what it is. Hopefully the new additions will bed in quickly - time will tell.
Dan Hargraves said late last night that he won't be surprised if we get players who are currently without a club.
I just seen on twitter that Hutchinson posted a video of a anonymous phone call he received from a 'so called Rovers supporter', giving him and his family abuse and apparently saying he hope Hutchinson dies on the pitch. He has deleted the video on twitter now so I haven't heard it myself but the responses it had is still viewable. Dan Hargraves then shared an image that Hutchinson's partner posted. Here it is... please log in to view this image
I'm really pissed off about this. Sometimes we don't like certain players or staff. Like I hated Joey Barton for example. But I wouldn't want to see him dead on a football pitch, or abuse his partner or phone him and make threats. What on earth possessed a person to harass Hutchinson's partner and make threats to them both. Yeah, his performances haven't been good and I think we all hoped he would show the form with us that he had with Walsall. But to act like this to Hutchinson and his loved ones is pathetic and vile. I am glad he has moved to Cheltenham to get away from our club if we have 'fans' like this. And it would be horrible for his partner to attend games worried about the threats that was received.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour. That’s why I’m barely on social media anymore, with the occasional exception of FB, mainly for the grandparents on the other side of the country. Sadly it’s become a cesspit where cowards like the above mentioned hide behind their keyboards spewing out hatred, racism, homophobic abuse, misogyny etc. Life’s too short for that kind of thing. If this really is a Rovers “supporter” then we don’t need that type of scumbag associated with our club. Unfortunately, these people seem to be everywhere at the moment.
Apparently Hutchinson's post had the caption "this is the abuse I get from Bristol Rovers fans". So we all have been tarnished by this "supporter".
