Is it ****. We’ve already got too many left backs. Why do we need to add another right back? We’d be far better off adding a proper centre half option to push Onien down to fifth choice and allow mukiele to cover both. Given how robust Hume is, this is overkill in a position where we’ve got sufficient cover, while leaving us needing a little more quality in a more important position.

I think it would be a really sensible signing. Covers right back, centre back and centre midfield during AFCON. Allows Mukiele to play in a balanced centre back pairing with Alderete, and means we don’t have to bring in another centre back.
It’s not overkill Mukiele becomes a CB who can play RB rather than the other way round and geertruida is the right back cover who can also cover CB and midfield
