Thought we played well. Before the game with no striker I’d have took a draw all day long. We made Villa look ordinary.
We looked settled, usually I watch us and feel nervous all the time, we looked comfortable. Team cohesion has improved from the looks of that.

Given we lost it 4-1 last season with Isak in the team...
Let’s just get a better player in. At this point Wissa would make a huge difference, wants to be here, will give it everything.
Yeah! Think Wissa comes in and then if Isak goes we get another on top though, depends on the last 2 weeks of the window.

If you haven't got goals in the side you're going to be in bother. Having to play brilliantly to get draws and losing games you feel like we're against the run of play will become every day life.
Newcastle don't have enough goals coming from anywhere on the pitch.. They lack any significant threat once Isaks not playing.

The post you replied to was about an issue with goals in the side. So I got that part right.
We can't score enough goals.
How many goals did they score pre season? Also I think they haven't scored in their last 6 prem games when Isak hasn't played.
They kept banging on about it on tnt that stat, but tbh I already knew... Good sides have goals coming from more than one player on a consistent basis.
