Mrs A and I are booked to go to Beverley for a meal and a few beers tomorrow.
Just realised Beverley races is on with the ladies day today.
I’ve heard Beverley can get very busy and unpleasant when racing is on.
Anyone here in the know?

Take a tin hat.....

Only kidding...No idea, but I guess the pubs are rammed. My sister and brother in law live in Bev. They tend to avoid going into town on race days....Make of that what you will.

When I lived there on race day, just avoided 'town', especially as the day progressed and the drunken massess descendend.

Thursday should be 'quiet', no markets on, though children off school!

Parking if up to 3 hours, Tesco car park is free, if not Flemingate multistory is not expensive and drags you to a different bit of Beverley (there was roadworks the other week)

Enjoy your day regardless

If you want to watch pissed up Wesson ladies lying in the streets with their legs at a quarter to three, ladies day in Bev is the place to be.
